And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:20)

We often ask God to change our circumstances, but sometimes His greatest gift is His presence in the circumstances. Jesus never promised that following Him would be free from difficulties, but He promised that we would never face them alone. His presence is our strength in every season.

But whatever things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. (Philippians 3:7)

The world teaches us to find our security in what we possess, achieve, or become. But Paul discovered that nothing compares with the surpassing worth of knowing Christ. When Christ becomes our greatest treasure, we learn that losing earthly things does not mean losing what matters most.

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. (Colossians 3:2)

So much of our attention is consumed by things that are temporary: success, possessions, recognition, comfort, and earthly concerns. But the Gospel teaches us to see life through the lens of eternity. When our hearts are fixed on Christ and the things above, we learn to live differently in the things of this world.

Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ. (Titus 2:13)

The Christian hope is not limited to this present life. Jesus Christ will return, and His return gives us a reason to live with faithfulness, holiness, and expectation. We do not know when He will return, but we know whom we are waiting for.

Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus. (Hebrews 12:2)

Following Christ is not always an easy journey. There will be seasons of weakness, disappointment, and struggle, but we are called not to give up. Keep your eyes on Jesus, not merely on the difficulty of the road. He is worth following, and His faithfulness gives us strength to keep going.

If you love Me, keep My commandments. (John 14:15)

Christian obedience is not about trying to earn God’s acceptance. We obey because we have already experienced His grace and love through Christ. Love for Jesus should move beyond our words and become visible in the way we live.

Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. (1 Corinthians 12:27)

Christianity is not merely a personal relationship with Jesus lived in isolation. Christ brings His people together as one body, where we worship, serve, encourage, correct, and grow together. We need the fellowship of believers, and the church needs every believer faithfully using what God has given them.

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.” — Proverbs 9:10

Wisdom is more than having knowledge or experience. It begins with recognizing who God is and submitting our lives to Him. The wise person does not simply ask, “What do I want?” but “What does God desire?”

The testing of your faith produces patience. (James 1:3)

Suffering is never easy, and Scripture does not ask us to pretend that it is. Yet God can work through painful seasons, producing endurance, maturity, and deeper dependence on Him. What feels like a season of breaking can, in God’s hands, become a season of transformation.
