It gives pleasure to say that the book "THE PREAMBLE TO ISLAM" represents a positive attempt to address this challenge.
An effort has been made to present the matter in a methodical and readable manner and all major Islamic topics pertinent to Muslim have been included. The language which is simple and a style which is appealing to young minds. The attempt to motivate the learner to imbibe the spirit of Islam and transform it into practical living.

SUNNAH- Eid ul Fitr
The Sunnah of Eid
1. Wake up early.
2. Prepare for personal cleanliness, take care of details of clothing, etc.
Take a Ghusl (bath) after Fajr.
3. Brush your teeth.
4. Dress up, putting on best clothes available, whether new or cleaned old ones.
5. Use perfume (men only).
6. Have breakfast(Dates) on Eid-al-Fitr before leaving for prayer ground.
7. Pay Zakaat-al-Fitr before Salaat-al-Eid .
8. Go to prayer ground early.
9. Offer Salaat-al-Eid in congregation in an open place except when whether is not permitting like rain, snow, etc.
10. Use two separate route to and from the prayer ground.
11. Recite the following Takbir on the way to Salaat and until the beginning of Salaat-al-Eid.
*Allaho-Akber, Allaho-Akber. La ila-ha ill-lal-lah. Allaho-Akber, Allaho-Akber. Wa-lilahill hamd.* ( _Allah is greater, Allah is greater. There is no god but Allah. Allah is greater, Allah is greater. And all praises are for Allah)._

When the Prophet Muhammed* reached Medina, he found the Jews fasting the Day of Ashura, so he asked them,What is this day you are fasting?' They said, This is a tremendous day. Allah saved Musa & his people on this day & drowned Pharaoh & his people. Musa fasted it out of thanks, so we fast it too. The Prophet Muhammed* said, & we are more deserving of Musa than you are. So he fasted this day, & ordered that it be fasted.

On Eid-ul-Adha Dawatul Quran distributed raw meat to the doorstep of extremely poor families who don’t go door to door for meat collection. For this we approached more than 3 slums of Bangalore, since we have already distributed Ration during Ramadan in this area to the needy families many were widows and orphan. We were able to distribute 513 packs of Raw meat on the 2nd day of Eid to the identified families. In addition to that we also distributed 320 packs of Raw meat on the 3rd day of Eid. Each weighting approximately 550grm(more than ½ Kg).
May Allah the Almighty accept the sacrifice from all Muslims specially those who contributed in this activity(MDP-2017) and bless us Ikhlaas to work more and more for the Ummah...Ameen.
