A special moment for us at the Indian School of Tea. 🍃
Celebrating the graduation of Chirag Prakash Arora and Ragini Khatri from our Train the Trainer program—both completing the journey with clarity, commitment, and confidence.

What makes this even more meaningful is the direction they have chosen:
Ragini steps forward with her focus on Sensory Appreciation, while Chirag brings his strength into Storytelling in Tea Education.

Two different paths, one shared purpose—to take tea forward with knowledge and depth.

We are proud to welcome them into the domain of teaching and training as part of the Indian School of Tea.
Congratulations, and this is just the beginning.

Join our programs and open the door to becoming a tea professional and trainer.

Two years of the Indian School of Tea. 🍃
What started as a thought has now grown into a community that believes in tea—not just as a beverage, but as a profession, a craft, and a way of life.

On 26th April, we came together to celebrate this journey—with warmth, conversations, and a shared passion that filled the room.

We were truly honoured to have Sanchari Chowdhury, Director South, International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), and Aditi Debnath from JW Marriott as our Guests of Honour.

The room came alive with the F&B team from The Oberoi Bengaluru, our students who travelled from across the country to be a part of this celebration, and the hospitality and creative community of Bangalore.

And a truly special moment—the certification and pinning of our first Train the Trainer cohort.

A new chapter begins, with a new generation ready to take tea forward.

Grateful. Proud. And just getting started.

Join us in this journey.

Next time you’re at a luxury hotel or tea room, ask:

• Which garden is this tea from?
• What is the leaf size?
• Which year was it processed?

Then pause.

Watch the response.
Watch the confidence.
Watch the gap.

Tea is one of the most consumed beverages in the world.
And yet, only understood by just a few.

Try this and tell us what happened.

At the Indian School of Tea, we often say we are a mini India.
In just two years, we’ve had students join us from across the country—from Punjab to Chennai, Meghalaya to Jaipur—each bringing their own stories, cultures, and perspectives.
As different parts of India celebrate their regional New Years—Bihu, Poila Boishakh, Puthandu, Vishu, Vaisakhi, and more—we take this moment to pause and celebrate this beautiful diversity.
Wishing each one of you a very happy new year.
Subho Nababarsha. Happy Bihu. Happy Puthandu. Happy Vishu. Happy Vaisakhi.
May the year ahead bring you warmth, growth, good fortune, and meaningful moments.

🇮🇳

Not Everything Called “Tea” Is Tea

Chamomile.
Hibiscus.
Peppermint.

They are often called tea — but technically, they are herbal infusions.

True tea comes from one plant: Camellia sinensis.

Black, green, white, oolong, and matcha all come from this single plant — the difference is in how the leaves are processed.

Understanding tea begins with knowing this.

Join our programs and be Tea Wise.
