Experts from 12 institutions met at the Raman Research Institute to discuss CMB ECHO, a proposed Indian space-based CMB telescope planned for launch after 2035. They agreed to first develop a precursor ground-based experiment, TARANG, to build expertise, train personnel, and advance key technologies, with proposal work now in progress.
