takes the stage in this moving performance which emerges from lived memories, myth, and the body’s quiet negotiations with gender. Moving between masculinity and femininity, it draws from childhood play, grandmother’s stories, and mythological, historical, and contemporary narratives to explore queerness as something remembered rather than newly invented. Through song, gesture, and transformation, the body sheds imposed roles and listens to what remains. This work is an offering, inviting ambiguity, softness, and freedom to coexist on stage.

Nazar ke Saamne*
(Before Your Eyes) is a collective expression of bodies that have endured & resisted caste and sexual violence. The performance is filled with unfulfilled desires, confessions, secrets and dreams. Journeying between childhood, youth and womanhood, the actors provoke questions around identity, freedom and justice. Nazar ke Samne is woven from personal experiences, listening closely to the body to reveal beauty and violence in everyday life.
