World Post Day is celebrated each year on 9 October. The event was declared by the 1969 Universal Postal Congress in Tokyo as a means to mark the anniversary of the Universal Postal Union's (UPU) creation in 1874.

The purpose of World Post Day is to bring awareness to the Post's role in the everyday lives of people and businesses, as well as its contribution to global social and economic development.

BGS International Academia School Investiture Ceremony
With the blessings of Poojya Swamiji we celebrated the first Investiture ceremony at Kumbalagodu BGS Knowledge City Auditorium on 2nd Sept 2023.
The Investiture Ceremony was a significant event for the school, and we believe it truly reflected the high standards of leadership and responsibility that we aim to instill in our students. This event not only marked a momentous occasion for the newly appointed leaders but also served as an inspiration for our entire student body.
This ceremony is an opportunity for our students to take on leadership roles and responsibilities, and it serves as a platform to instill in them the core values of BGSIAS Integrity, Discipline, Respect and Empathy.

Draped in an air of excitement and accomplishment, BGSIAS (IB/CAIE) marked a significant milestone as it unveiled the doors to its brand-new hostel building. The campus buzzed with energy on the auspicious day of the Inauguration Ceremony, where esteemed faculty members, enthusiastic students, and honored guests came together to commemorate this remarkable achievement.

Nestled amidst the lush greenery of the campus, the new hostel building stands tall as a testament to the institution's commitment to providing a world-class living and learning environment for its students. With state-of-the-art facilities and modern amenities, the hostel is poised to become a second home for students pursuing excellence in academia.

BGSIAS Leadership Camp: Empowering the Pilot Batch
From the 9th to the 12th of June, the enthusiastic students of grade 11 at BGSIAS embarked on a transformative journey at the highly anticipated Leadership Camp.
The Leadership Camp was carefully curated to challenge and push the participants beyond their comfort zones. Through a myriad of engaging activities, the students were exposed to real-world scenarios that demanded their problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills. The camp organizers meticulously crafted a diverse range of challenges, including team-building exercises, outdoor adventure pursuits, and thought-provoking discussions, to inspire collaboration and enhance their leadership potential.
The Leadership Camp at BGSIAS stands as a testament to the institution's commitment to holistic education and the development of well-rounded individuals. By nurturing the leadership potential of its students, BGSIAS continues to shape future leaders who will strive to create a more inclusive and progressive society.

The PYP Annual Day 2023 marked a triumphant conclusion to our unit of inquiry and served as a platform to exhibit the collaborative efforts and learning journeys of our students. Through a captivating musical play titled "Hope for Earth - A Journey to Uncover," we celebrated our planet and underscored the significance of environmental sustainability.

BGSIAS Celebrated its "1st Annual Sports Day"

BGS International Academia School, Bangalore celebrated World Water Day 2023, on 22nd March 2023.
The main objective was to create awareness and encourage people to take action to protect water resources and promote sustainable water management practices.
As part of the campaign, our students raised funds for charity by selling T-Shirts designed by the United Nations with the theme for 2023 "Accelerating Change" and the motto "Be the change you wish to see in the world".
