The Birthing simulator and Neonatal simulator allow practice in prepartum assessment and care, labor and delivery (routine and emergency), patient transport, and postpartum management, all with one wireless patient simulator.

Train the Trainers workshop enabled the faculties to conduct simulation-based education on this most advanced birthing simulator and newborn simulator.

The Society for Healthcare Simulation is presenting SIMULCON INDIA 2022, the 4th National Simulation conference to empower healthcare simulation. Students of School of Allied Healthcare & Sciences (Jain University) attended the Basic Cardiac Life Support and Critical Interventions Workshop, designed to provide Allied Health Sciences students. The workshop ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies like cardiac arrest, provide CPR along with the use of an automated external defibrillator(AED), identify foreign body airway obstruction, and relieve choking in a safe, timely, and effective manner.

This workshop enabled the students to understand the basics of echocardiography, ventilation, and Anesthesia. Students will be able to understand the basics of ECG and manage emergencies under the supervision of clinical experts.

Here is an immersive, realistic way of learning surgical skills through simulation. The significance of the development of basic knot tieing to laparoscopic & bronchoscopic techniques creates a platform that will enable young healthcare providers to grip & align the pieces of equipment rightly.

'Surgical Simulators - Train The Trainer Workshop' aims to show the guiding path with International Faculty Patel Chief Learning Officer, USA; to all the faculties that they can apply these surgical techniques with innovation in their teaching methodology.

VASA participated in Healthcare Simulation Week 2022 organized by "The Society for Simulation in Healthcare - SSH, USA " from the 12th to the 16th of September and received a Certification of Participation Award.

Day 2
We conducted Basic Cardiac Emergency Management Workshop for Allied Health Science Interns.

This Workshop focused on Basic Life Support, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Bag mask ventilation, use of AED, and relief of choking in adults and children.
Students practiced scenarios on mid-fidelity simulators with real-time feedback and concluded with the basics of ECG & the identification of cardiac arrhythmias with their management.

VASA was honored to invite Vidya Vikas High School students for an educational tour of our simulation academy. Here students got a chance to experience physiologically responsive manikins and learned how simulation training and education solve real-world problems safely & efficiently, without risk to patients and staff.

Day 1
Today we conducted Basic Cardiac Emergency Management Workshop for Allied Health Science Interns.

This workshop briefly introduces anatomy, focusing on the airway, breathing, circulation, and disability.
Presentation and demonstration followed by the hands-on practice were conducted with students for the basics and advanced airway management skills, suctioning, Ryle's tube insertion, Vascular management, urinary catheterization, and ventilator basics.

An innovative learning platform using the High Fidelity Ultrasound Simulator enhances the decision-making skills of clinical practitioners in Echocardiography.

Here we presented the Echocardiography Simulation Training Workshop by Dr. Manish Jain, a Consultant Cardiologist.

The workshop is designed to recognize several life-threatening emergencies like cardiopulmonary arrest in adults and pediatric patients and provide CPR using AED to relieve choking.
This workshop enables the participants to perform several skills in airway management, wound care, vascular access, catheterization, and managing several medical trauma emergencies.
