John bought a bag of oranges on Monday, and ate a third of them. On Tuesday, he ate half of the remaining oranges. On Wednesday, he looked in the bag to find that he only had two oranges left. How many oranges were originally in the bag?

Riddle for the Day:
Two trains are moving nice and slow. They are traveling towards one another. There is one train that will run from point A to point B, going 19 miles an hour. Then we have the second train that goes in the opposite direction from point B to point A. This one is going 21 miles an hour. One hour before the trains pass each other, how far apart will they be?

One day you are in math with the rest of the class, ready to work on some of the different problems. The teacher decided to use an unconventional method to measure the time limit of fifteen minutes for the test. He worked with two hourglasses. One was seven minutes, and one was 11 minutes. During the whole time, he would only turn the sandglasses three times. One note here, if the teacher turns both of these at the same time, it would only count as one flip. Explain how the teacher was able to use these to help measure out 15 minutes.
