Just a thought - Can 'Social Shopping' be the key to the rest of 2020?
Its evident that E-commerce and social media are becoming intertwined. Shopping friendly Instagram posts and stories, in particular, have taken off in the last year, with most ecommerce brands using this feature.
With consumers heavily influenced by what they see, being able to buy directly on their social platform of choice is the next logical step in omnichannel commerce.
I believe that 2020 is a great time for retailers to get on board and leverage the social channels their customers already use especially with festive season around the corner.
Retailers must take advantage of the rise in social shopping by partnering with social media influencers and dedicating time and resources to building out shoppable social profiles, especially on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and Pinterest.

Believe it or not, Customers feel more comfortable buying products from an emptier shelf because they tend to think lots of other people have also bought the product. Well, that is what study says! Since it is a , try removing SKU's from display deliberately at your own risk😉.

Believe it or not, shopping is also a skill learnt by your customers which are aided by point of sale (POS), product packaging and in-store signage. And of course it requires shoppers to process information in order to get what they need!
So make sure you teach you customers to shop well!
