An Early Childhood Expert, an Educational and Parent Consultant and a happy mother to my daughter :)

11/01/2025

Just wrapped up a wonderful session with the parents at Zero Limits Montessori .montessori , where we explored the theme of Building Independence through Daily Life Activities. It was a privilege to emphasize how early years’ experiences lay the foundation for future competencies such as resilience, adaptability, leadership, and self-management.

The discussions highlighted how small, intentional steps in everyday life can empower children to develop confidence and independence, setting the stage for their holistic growth.

A big thank you to Ramya Rammohan for the kind invitation and for fostering a space for these meaningful conversations. Congratulations to her on bringing together a wonderful set of parents who are so eager to learn and support their children in meaningful ways. It’s inspiring to see the nurturing and safe environment she has created for children in their formative years.

I look forward to more such collaborations to share and learn together!

I had such a wonderful time recording this podcast with YogiPatelTTE Patel in Hindi. Yogi brings a wealth of wisdom from years of experience, and it was a pleasure to discuss how we can support children in building resilience from an early age. We also touched on the crucial role parents play in modeling the behaviors they want to see in their children.

Although Hindi is my mother tongue, I realized how often we mix English into our conversations. This happens partly because many people may not fully grasp formal Hindi, and partly because some concepts simply don’t have direct Hindi equivalents. Through this conversation, we not only shared insights but also embraced the beauty of our language and its importance.

My goal was recently achieved.

I am thrilled to share my first-ever Hindi parenting podcast with a colleague Madhuri Prasad! It’s been a dream to discuss parenting in Hindi, and this episode dives into raising resilient children through praise, communication, responsibility, and mindful discipline. Slowly, I will share parenting wisdom with families in India in Hindi and Gujarati. Thank you, Madhuri!

Madhuri’s support and patience made this journey possible, and I’m excited to continue mastering the language I once spoke fluently as a young child.

The best way to teach a child resilience is to demonstrate it.

Achieving Assistant’s Certification for Children’s House and Elementary Programs from AMI to further enriched her knowledge, eventually propelling Madhuri into her current role as an Educational Consultant. In this capacity, she offers tailored guidance to educators in Montessori theory for children aged Birth to 3 years, fostering conducive learning environments across diverse educational settings.

Libraries are great catalyst in sparking a love for reading in children.
