ایک صاحب جب بھی رات کو گھر دیر سے آتے تو دیکھتے کہ ان کی ماں کچھ سی رہی ہے۔ ماں کہتی؛ پُتر، سوئی میں دھاگہ تو ڈال دے۔ اور یہ اُن کو دھاگہ ڈال دیتے۔

ایک بار انہوں نے ماں سے کہا: اماں، یہ کیا ہمیشہ کچھ سیتی رہتی ہو؟ جب بھی گھر لوٹوں مجھے سوئی میں دھاگہ ڈال دینے کیلئے کہتی ہو؟

ماں نے کہا؛ پُتر، کچھ بھی نہیں سیتی، میں تو تیرا ٹیسٹ لیتی ہوں کہ اتنی رات گئے کہیں نشہ کر کے تو نہیں آتے؟

The proprietor of a coffee shop had been busy all day. Being Saturday, it was very crowded and the customers were just unending. He had been on his toes since morning.

Towards the evening he felt a splitting headache surfacing. As the clock ticked away, his headache worsened. Unable to bear it, he stepped out of the shop leaving his staff to look after the sales.

He walked across the street to the Chemist, to buy himself a painkiller to relieve his headache. He swallowed the pill and felt relieved. He knew that in a few minutes he would feel better.

As he strolled out of the shop, he casually asked the salesgirl, "Where is Mr Sharma (the Chemist)? He's not at the cash counter today!" The girl replied, "Sir, Mr Sharma had a splitting headache and said he was going across to the coffee shop. He said a cup of hot coffee would relieve him of his headache."

The man's mouth went dry and he mumbled, "Oh! I see."

*This is a typical case of looking outside ourselves for something that we have within us*.

How strange but true!

The chemist relieves his headache by drinking coffee and the coffee shop owner finds relief in a pain relieving pill!

A man hunts across the lengths and breadths of the universe to find peace.

Eventually he finds it in his heart and realizes that peace is really a state of mind.

کل ایک لڑکی کا میسج آیا کہ کوئی اچھی سی جاب بتا سکتے ہیں ؟؟ جب میں نے وجہ پوچھی تو حیران کے ساتھ خاموش سا ہوگیا۔۔۔
ہوا یوں کچھ دن پہلے اک فیملی لڑکی کو دیکھنے آئی ۔۔ لڑکی ماشااللہ پیاری ہے اور ماسٹر کیا ہوا ہے۔۔چائے دینے کے بعد لڑکی روم میں چلی گئی۔
کچھ تعریفوں کے بعد بات پکی ہونے لگی تو سوال جہیز کا آگیا ۔ لڑکے کی ماں نے کہا کے ہمارے خاندان میں یہ رواج ہے کہ 15 تولہ سونا 10 مرلے کا پلاٹ اور فلاں فلاں سامان فرنیچر ہوتا اور ساتھ بیٹھا بیٹا چائے کے سپ لیتا رہا۔۔ کچھ دیر پہلے جہاں لڑکی کی بات اور ہنسی مزاق ہو رہا تھا اب وہاں سناٹا تھا۔۔۔
آخر کار جواب نا ہو گیا۔ لڑکی ڈر کے مارے کمرے سے نا نکل رہی تھی۔ آخر برتن اٹھانے کے لیے آئی تو غیرت مند (پڑھا لکھا بےروزگار )بھائی بولا " جتنا اس کو پڑھانے پر پیسا لگایا اس سے اچھا تھا جہیز بنا لیتے۔۔ پھر غصہ سے بہن کی طرف مخاطب ہوا کہ اتنا باپ نے پڑھایا ہے کوئی اچھی جاب کر اور جہیز بنا۔۔. وہاں بیٹھا باپ خاموش تھا اور ماں آنسو بہا رہی تھی۔۔۔۔

میں اکثر جو لکھتا ہوں کہانی نہیں حقیقت لکھتا ہوں۔۔
باقی اگر جہیز کی پوسٹ کردو تو ہر مرد یہاں "جہیز لعنت ہے" کہنے لگتا ہے اور حقیقت میں خاموش بیٹھے چائے پیتے ہیں۔۔۔۔

امریکہ میں جب ایک قیدی کو پھانسی کی سزا سنائی گئی تو وہاں کے کچھ سائنس دانوں نے سوچا کہ کیوں نا اس قیدی پر کچھ تجربہ کیا جاے.
تب قیدی کو بتایا گیا کہ ہم تمہیں پھانسی دے کر نہیں ماریں زہریلا کوبرا سانپ ڈسا کر ماریں گے..اور اس کے سامنے بڑا سا زہریلا کوبرا سانپ لے آنے کے بعد اس کی آنکھیں بند کرکے اس کو کرسی سے باندھ دیا گیا. اور اس کو سانپ نہیں بلکہ دو سیفٹی پِن چبھائی گئی... اور قیدی کی کچھ سیکنڈ میں ہی موت ہوگئی..پوسٹ مارٹم کے بعد پایا گیا کہ قیدی کے جسم میں سانپ کے زہر جیسا ہی زہر ہے......اب یہ زہر کہاں سے آیا جس نے اس قیدی کی جان لے لی... وہ زہر اس کے جسم نے ہی صدمے میں جاری کیا تھا... ہمارے ہر عمل سے مثبت یا منفی توانائی بنتی ہے اور وہ ہمارے جسم میں اسی کے مطابق ہارمونس تیار کرتی ہے...
