Successfully organized by the CoA Sports Committee, the event celebrated fitness, discipline, and the unstoppable spirit of our students.

On 5th December, we observed World Soil Day to acknowledge the vital role of soil in sustaining agriculture, biodiversity, and human life. The event highlighted the importance of soil conservation, sustainable management practices, and our collective responsibility toward ensuring soil health for future generations.

A special appreciation goes to the 1st Semester students for their brilliant poster presentations, showcasing creativity, scientific understanding, and dedication to the theme.

Today, a condolence meeting was held at the College of Agriculture (Extended Campus), UBKV Majhian, in solemn remembrance of Professor M.G. Som, former Vice Chancellor of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya.

Professor Som’s contribution to agricultural education and research remains invaluable. His vision, dedication, and leadership have left a lasting impact on the academic community and continue to inspire students, researchers, and professionals across the field.

As we paused to reflect on his life and legacy, we were reminded that great educators do not merely teach — they shape futures.
