An educational visit to Dakshin Dinajpur Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) was organised on 10 September 2026 for the students of 4th Semester, B.Sc. Agriculture, as a part of the practical component of ASEC-251.

The visit was conducted under the able guidance of Dr. Kabita Pal Mondal, Course Coordinator. The students gained valuable practical exposure through interaction with the scientists and technical experts of KVK and developed a better understanding of agricultural technologies, extension activities, technology dissemination, and the role of KVKs in supporting farmers and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

The visit provided an important opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical field-level application, thereby enriching the students’ academic and professional learning experience.

🎬 Two Days of Learning, Creativity & Achievement!

A two-day workshop on “Audio-Visual Production Techniques” was organised by the Department of Agricultural Extension, UBKV at the Vivekananda Auditorium, UBKV, Pundibari, Coochbehar on 4th–5th September 2026.

The workshop provided valuable hands-on exposure to:
📹 Audio-visual production techniques
🎥 Camera handling & visual composition
🎙️ Audio recording and sound techniques
💻 Video editing and post-production
📽️ Storytelling through audio-visual media

The successful completion of the workshop was marked by the distribution of Certificates and Mementos, making it a memorable learning experience and a proud achievement for the participants. 🏆✨
