Activity: Skip Counting by 10 using Hopscotch

The activity “Skip Counting by 10 with Hopscotch” was conducted to help LKG students understand skip counting in a fun and interactive way. A hopscotch pattern was drawn on the floor with numbers written in multiples of 10 (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, etc.).

Students were asked to hop from one number to the next while loudly counting in tens. This activity helped children recognize number patterns, improve number sequencing, and develop gross motor skills. The combination of physical movement and learning made the concept of skip counting easy and enjoyable for the students.

Overall, the activity was engaging, joyful, and effective in reinforcing skip counting by 10.

Activity: Red Day Special – Paper Craft (Apple Making)
On 20th December 2025, Red Day was joyfully celebrated in the LKG class with a special paper craft activity—Apple Making. The activity was designed to help children recognize the red colour while enhancing their creativity and fine motor skills.

The teacher introduced the concept of Red Day and spoke briefly about red-coloured objects, especially fruits like the apple. Children were provided with red paper cut-outs, green paper for leaves, and glue. With guidance, they pasted the pieces neatly to make a beautiful red apple.

The little learners participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the hands-on experience. Through this fun-filled activity, children not only learned about the red colour but also improved their hand–eye coordination, concentration, and confidence. The classroom looked bright and cheerful with the lovely apple crafts made by the students. 🍎

गतिविधि विषय – छात्र द्वारा घर में किए जाने वाले काम को एक्शन करके प्रस्तुत करना

इस गतिविधि में छात्रों को दो टीमों में बाँटा गया था। प्रत्येक समूह से एक विद्यार्थी सामने आकर घर में किए जाने वाले किसी कार्य को बिना बोले केवल एक्शन के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत करता था, जैसे झाड़ू लगाना, बर्तन धोना, पढ़ाई करना, पौधों में पानी देना आदि। दूसरी टीम को उस एक्शन को देखकर अनुमान लगाना होता था कि वह कौन-सा कार्य है। यह खेल सभी विद्यार्थियों के लिए बहुत रोचक और मनोरंजक रहा। इस गतिविधि के माध्यम से बच्चों में आत्मविश्वास, समझदारी और टीमवर्क की भावना का विकास हुआ।

Red Day Celebration
The Red Day Celebration was joyfully celebrated by the students of Class Nursery, LKG, and Prep with great enthusiasm. The tiny tots came dressed in different shades of red, making the school campus bright and colourful.
The celebration began with a melodious song presented by the LKG students, followed by a lively fancy dress presentation by the Prep students, where the children confidently showcased various red-themed characters. The event concluded with an energetic dance performance by the Nursery students, which filled the atmosphere with joy and excitement.
The Red Day celebration helped students to recognize the color red while developing their confidence, creativity, and stage presence. The programme was a great success and created happy and memorable moments for everyone present.
