Institute of Medical science and research, Balasore had celebrated WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK 2024 based on this year theme ,"𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐩 - 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥 " . Various types of competition had organized among the students like poster marking, rangoli, speech, quiz, song etc to create awareness regarding breastfeeding and motivated the students to participate in the extra curricular activities.
The enthusiastic students also puts a light upon the theme and tried to reduce the gap & myths related to breastfeeding and enhances the knowledge of breastfeeding practices in the society.
