Summer camps kindle the spark of imagination and transform ordinary days into cherished adventures of joy and discovery.

An air of merriment and creativity pervaded the campus of Delhi Public School Asansol as the Summer Camp unfolded in all its vibrancy. The day commenced with yoga and invigorating warm-up exercises, filling the atmosphere with freshness and enthusiasm.
Young DPSites enthusiastically participated in super dry clay craft, shaping delightful ducks ducklings, flowers and Lord Ganesha idols with remarkable imagination and finesse. The cooking without fire session added flavour and excitement as students prepared appetising snacks like sandwiches corn snack salad and puffed rice snack.

Music and dance infused the campus with rhythm and exuberance, making the day a joyous celebration of fun and frolic. A distinctive highlight of the day was an inspiring awareness workshop conducted by the Class IX students for the Class VI students on the theme 'I Am the King of My Mind.' promoting healthy choices and freedom from addictions. The programme flourished under the inspiring guidance and dynamic stewardship of the esteemed Principal ma’am, Mrs Vineeta Srivastava whose constant encouragement infused the camp with purpose and vitality.

A Card Making Competition for the students of Nursery to Prep II was organised at Delhi Public School, Asansol, with great enthusiasm. The tiny DPSites participated joyfully and showcased their creativity through colourful and attractive cards.

Their unique ideas and vibrant combinations reflected remarkable creativity and enthusiasm. The activity filled the classrooms with excitement and cheerful energy as the young learners explored colours, shapes and patterns in an enjoyable manner.

The competition also proved to be a meaningful learning experience. It helped the children identify basic shapes, enhanced their fine motor skills and encouraged creativity and imagination. Through cutting, arranging and pasting the shapes, the students developed coordination and confidence in expressing their ideas artistically.

The efforts of the students were highly appreciated by the honourable Principal ma’am, Ms Vineeta Srivastava, whose words of appreciation added immense joy to the occasion as the little learners were warmly applauded for their wonderful creativity and enthusiastic participation.
