A significant milestone towards creating a Drug-Free Campus and nurturing a healthier, safer and more responsible future for our youth.

In a remarkable collaborative initiative, Dr. Shivajirao S. Jondhle Knowledge City, Asangaon, the Thane Rural Police Department, and Cause Foundation came together to spread awareness, inspire responsibility, and strengthen the collective fight against drug abuse.

The programme was enriched by the inspiring guidance and motivating presence of distinguished police officers:

Shivajirao S. Jondhle Institute of Law & Research, Asangaon, in collaboration with Thane Rural Police and CAWSE Foundation, successfully conducted a Free Legal Aid & Legal Awareness Desk at Shivgeeta Auditorium.

The programme was graced by Shri Vinay Kumar Rathod (Superintendent of Police, Thane Rural), Shri Anmol Mittal (Additional Superintendent of Police, Thane Rural), Shri Vishal Arjun Nagargoje (Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shahapur), the Vighnaharata Trust Management, and Smt. Kalpana Jitesh More (Founder & Director, CAWSE Foundation) along with Shri Jitesh More.

With the enthusiastic participation of 400+ students and walk-in visitors, the initiative strengthened legal awareness, student safety, anti-drug awareness, and access to justice.

Awareness begins with action, and Cause Foundation students Team shahapur led the way.

As part of the Free Legal Aid & Legal Awareness Desk held on 13 August 2026, the students of Shivajirao S. Jondhle Institute of Law and Research, Asangaon, under the aegis of Vighnaharata Trust, actively spread awareness on the harmful effects of drugs and alcohol, legal rights, cyber safety, women and child protection, and responsible citizenship.

The programme, conducted in the esteemed presence of Respected Hon'ble Dr. Vinay Kumar Rathod Sir, Superintendent of Police, Thane Rural, Respected Hon'ble Shri Anmol Mittal Sir, Additional Superintendent of Police, Thane Rural, Respected Hon'ble Shri Vishal Arjun Nagargoje Sir, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Shahapur Division, and other distinguished dignitaries, reflected the power of youth in creating a safer and more aware society.
