This is truly a very emotional and proud moment for all of us🥹. Being part of a highly competitive National Level Student Innovation Event – Big Bang 3.0, with participation from students across 24 states in India, and seeing our students emerge as winners is a moment of immense happiness and pride. As highlighted by CovaiMail, the competition was conducted by the Rotary Club in association with Atal Innovation Mission at Coimbatore National Model Higher Secondary School, where nearly 700 teams participated and only 150 teams were shortlisted for the final round. We are extremely proud to share that Aruppukottai Devangar Girls Higher Secondary School students, T. Divyadharshana and P. Manojini, secured 2nd Prize at the National Level for their innovative project “Medical Express”, winning a cash award of ₹20,000 (shared by two teams). Our heartfelt thanks to the organizers, Rotary Club of Coimbatore West, Atal Innovation Mission NITI Aayog for providing such a prestigious platform that inspires young minds and nurtures innovation. On this day last year (January 7–10, 2025), our school ATL students S. Rajeshwari, K. Kavinaya, and S. Geethapriya had the incredible opportunity to attend a 4-day Shepreneur Bootcamp at Dell Technologies, Bengaluru, organized by Dell Technologies and Learning Links Foundation.
Selected as one among the Top 10 Girls' Teams in India at the ATL Marathon, this achievement marked a significant milestone in their innovation journey.
The bootcamp enriched them with valuable insights into entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation, inspiring them to continue creating impactful solutions for society.Interacting and mingling with students from other states made the experience even more special, and all four days were truly engaging and memorable.

Coming from a simple town in *Virudhunagar District* they stood tall on the grand stage of Vijay TV’s “Pitch It On - நீங்களும் ஆகலாம் கலாம்”, showcasing their innovation and confidence before the world. 💫

Each idea they create carries a spark of change — a voice for those who dream differently. Seeing our girls shine on television is not just a proud moment, it’s an emotional reminder that *passion and perseverance can take you anywhere. ❤️*

On 19th September 2025, during the Atal Innovation Mission – Knowledge Hub Series (Season 3, Episode 5), our students S. Rajeshwari, K. Kavinaya, and S. Geethapriya from Devangar Girls Higher Secondary School, Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar District, Tamil Nadu were proudly recognized for their innovation journey. 🙌✨

Their project, “Vote Assistant Machine for Visually Challenged People”, was earlier showcased at the Karna Vidya Foundation, Chennai, where it received heartfelt appreciation from visually challenged individuals. This innovation also secured a place among the Top 500 teams in ATL Marathon 2023 , Top 10 Girls teams in ATL Marathon 2023 and won a ₹5,000 cash prize from Dinakaran News. 💡🏆

This recognition by AIM, NITI Aayog once again highlights how our young innovators are solving real community challenges through the spirit of 🌍✨

Our ATL students have achieved great success at the Techno Talentum – 25 (Science & Robotics Competition) conducted by St. Joseph's Engineering College at Sivakasi, on August 9, 2025.

Second Prize 🏆 (Rs. 3000) secured by G.K.Lithanya Sree and S.Geethapriya for their Hands On History project under the Science Exhibition theme.

Third Prize 🏆 (Rs. 3000) secured by T.Divyadharshana and R.Subasini for their Medical Express project under the Robotics theme.

The prizes were awarded by Virudhunagar District Superintendent of Police, Mr. Kannan, IPS.

On July 7, 8, and 9, our town celebrated the annual Car Festival. As our school is located right in front of the temple, a large number of people visited the area during these days. Making use of this wonderful opportunity, we organized a Science Exhibition at our school.

The exhibition featured nearly 70 projects from different domains such as Science, Robotics, Embedded Systems, and IoT. It was successfully conducted for two days and attracted an overwhelming response, with around 3,700 visitors from the public.

This was the first time we hosted an exhibition at such a large public gathering, and it turned out to be a joyful and memorable experience. Many visitors greatly appreciated the creativity, efforts, and talents of our students.

The success of this event was possible because not only the Science and ATL staff, but also the entire school team, came together and worked hand in hand. This proud moment has brought great recognition to our school. Here we added some pictures of that event.

Our project "Medical Express" was recently featured on Sun News Tamil!
This recognition truly means a lot to us and inspires us to keep pushing boundaries and innovating for the betterment of society.

The project was developed by our talented students T. Divyadharshana and R. Subasini from Devangar Girls Higher Secondary School, under the Atal Tinkering Lab initiative.

Every step of this journey is driven by the goal of making a meaningful impact.

Our talented students T.Divyadharshana and R.Subasini ( 9th standard ) from Devangar Girls Higher Secondary School, Aruppukottai have once again made us proud with their innovative Medical Express project! 💊

Designed in our Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL), this life-saving medicine dispenser ( MEDICAL EXPRESS )can provide essential medicines during emergencies while travelling in train. This incredible idea has gained recognition in Dinakaran News ( 30.03.2025 ) and received a ₹5000 cash prize. 🏆🎉
