"Arrive" generally refers to the point in time when you actually get to your destination. It emphasizes the completion of the journey. For example, "We arrived at the airport at 3 PM."

"Reach," on the other hand, emphasizes the action of reaching a destination without necessarily specifying the exact moment of arrival. It focuses on the journey's progress. For instance, "We reached the city after a long drive."

In essence, "arrive" is about the moment you arrive at your destination, while "reach" is more about the action of progressing towards that destination.
