The diary of an eyeball rolling, huffing, puffing teacher.... a one > Ms. ZASHA Maria
Things that drive me nuts:-
1. Science class. Mammals give birth to live young correct? Oh no! Then comes the Platypus....
2. All fish are cold blooded correct? Oh Joe! Then comes the Opah.....
3. A ring worm isn't a worm...
4. 20% of earth's oxygen comes from the amazon. Where as 90% of my salary is spent on amazon.com.
5. A leech has 32 brains, and I swear I've met some people with NONE.
6. A male seahorse gives birth..... (who do I need to talk to get this done for humans?!)
7. Is Pluto a planet or not? Can someone just make up their mind and let us teachers be...
8. Water can freeze and boil at the same time. This is noticed in my class students too! They start shivering and shaking with really cold feet in the dead of summer when I've just announced a surprise test!
9. Jellyfish are immortal! So guess who is having a bowl of jelly every day?!
10. A cockroach can survive a week without its head, a week without water, 40 minutes without breathing and a month without food. (I know some people like this)
They said "Being a teacher is a walk in the park" what they missed out was.... *it is Jurrasic Park!* 🙆
I tell you, planning a class is no walk in the park especially when children are taught the tools to research and then we realize as teachers, how little we know!
