Sabarigiri College of Education is a self financing college of teacher education, located at Anchal. The College is established by Sabarigiri Educational and Cultural Society under the able guidance and leadership of Dr. V.K. Jayakumar, a physician as well as a philanthropist with a vision to promote higher values in education.
Teacher Education is undergoing remarkable changes now a days. Great effort is needed to keep abreast with the change. ‘Change’ is the need of the hour. It is the change that we are aiming at Sabarigiri College of Education which is situated far from the buzzling crowd. Anchal Sabarigiri College of Education is on the move to fulfill this need of the hour. ‘Sabarigiri’ has been a familiar name in the realm of education with Sabarigiri Residential School Anchal, Sabarigiri Higher Secondary School Anchal, Sabarigiri Senior Secondary School Punalur and Sabarigiri College of Allied Medical Sciences which all add to the glory of its name. Sabarigiri International School Njandoorkonam, Trivandrum, Sabarigiri Kindergarten Vazhuthacadu and Sabarigiri New Generation School Nilamel and Kowdiar are sister concerns of Sabarigiri Group.
