📢 **Awareness Programme on Dowry and Social Evils**
An impactful awareness programme on dowry and allied social evils was successfully conducted today in our institution. The session featured **Advocate Yehya**, who represented the local court under the directions and compliance of the Supreme Court of India.
Advocate Yehya delivered an enlightening and thought-provoking lecture on the **dowry system and its harmful impact on society**. He explained how a sacred institution like marriage has been gradually polluted by this social evil. He also highlighted the **legal framework against dowry**, including strict laws, **punishments, and imprisonment**, and elaborated on its strong connection with **domestic violence and social injustice**.
The programme also included an engaging **question-and-answer session**, where students actively participated, asked insightful questions, and gained valuable awareness about the issue.
Furthermore, students themselves presented **speeches against the dowry system**, expressing their views and commitment to building a society based on equality, dignity, and respect.
The programme concluded with a strong and clear message:
**“Say No to Dowry – Say Yes to a Just and Respectful Society.”**
