As part of the ongoing 03-Month Long Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Campaign, a Parent -Teacher meet on Drug Abuse was organized today on 24th of April 2026 at Govt. HSS AKINGAM.
The activity witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents and students on awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The meeting encourages parents to spread the message of a drug-free society.
A strong message was conveyed for promoting a healthy and responsible lifestyle. The initiative proved to be both educational and inspiring, leaving a lasting impact on participants.

📢 **Awareness Programme on Dowry and Social Evils**

An impactful awareness programme on dowry and allied social evils was successfully conducted today in our institution. The session featured **Advocate Yehya**, who represented the local court under the directions and compliance of the Supreme Court of India.

Advocate Yehya delivered an enlightening and thought-provoking lecture on the **dowry system and its harmful impact on society**. He explained how a sacred institution like marriage has been gradually polluted by this social evil. He also highlighted the **legal framework against dowry**, including strict laws, **punishments, and imprisonment**, and elaborated on its strong connection with **domestic violence and social injustice**.

The programme also included an engaging **question-and-answer session**, where students actively participated, asked insightful questions, and gained valuable awareness about the issue.

Furthermore, students themselves presented **speeches against the dowry system**, expressing their views and commitment to building a society based on equality, dignity, and respect.

The programme concluded with a strong and clear message:
**“Say No to Dowry – Say Yes to a Just and Respectful Society.”**

On 9th April 2026, a Food Festival was successfully organized in the school premises by the students of Class 12th (Tourism and Hospitality).

Students set up and managed various food stalls as part of their practical learning. The event provided a platform to apply classroom knowledge in real situations. Students demonstrated strong skills in planning, preparation, presentation, and teamwork.

The festival witnessed active participation from students and staff. The stalls offered a variety of food items, which were appreciated for their quality and presentation.
