Invictus Early Years

Kindness and care, affection to share! Heart-to-heart talks, unhurried walks! Faith and trust, spoiling a must! Endless love, a gift from above! That’s what grandparents are made of!

Pampering all the grannies and grandpas, Invictus organised a larger than life Grandparents' Day in the school premises. From delectable delicacies by Dadi ki Rasoi to breathtaking performances by our supremely talented Invictors, the show touched everyone's heart. The day brimmed up with oodles of blessings, happy faces, excitement and cheer as the budding stars of Invictus displayed their love and affection for their grandparents. It was indeed a moment of elation to see the happiness ushering on the faces of all the grandparents who made the most of this wonderful day.

Early Years 2 had an exciting, Reggio-led outing to McDonald's as part of their learning on the letter "m." They relished McCain burgers, crispy fries, and refreshing coke, making the day all the more special. The visit aimed to create a practical and engaging learning experience, helping children connect classroom concepts to the real world. The benefits were manifold, they enhanced their vocabulary, reinforced their phoneme and grapheme of the letter "m," and developed social skills through shared activities. With laughter and joy, our little Invictors had a fantastic time, making memories and strengthening their understanding of the alphabet in a fun and meaningful way.

Early Years 1 immersed in a florist shop activity inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, where they transformed the playarea with an array of real and artificial flowers, vases, and florist tools, making it a rich sensory environment. Students were eagerly engaged in arranging bouquets, identifying different flower types, and honing their fine motor skills. True to the Reggio philosophy, this hands-on experience encouraged exploration, creativity, and social interaction. They even did role-play buying and selling flowers, adding a layer of imaginative play.
Through this engaging activity, the children not only deepen their understanding of the letter "F" but also develop important cognitive and social skills.

In line with the Reggio Emilia approach, Invictors engaged in a dynamic outdoor class to learn ascending and descending order. They explored their natural environment, collecting stones of varying sizes. Through collaborative effort and guided discovery, they ordered these stones from big to small and small to big, fostering both individual and group learning experiences. The activity extended to arranging leaves in ascending and descending order, further enhancing their understanding. This child-centered approach, emphasizing exploration and interaction with nature, made the learning process both intuitive and enjoyable, aligning perfectly with Reggio Emilia principles.

Playing a body puzzle activity aligns well with the principles of the Reggio Emilia educational approach, which emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning and the importance of the environment as the third teacher. In this activity, children are actively involved in exploring and understanding their own bodies through direct manipulation and discovery. By matching body parts to their correct positions and learning facts about each one, children engage in self-directed learning, fostering curiosity and critical thinking. The collaborative nature of the Reggio approach is also reflected as children might work together, discuss, and share their discoveries, enhancing social and communication skills. This method nurtures a deeper understanding and appreciation of the human body in a natural, playful, and supportive learning environment.

The Water Sprinkle activity, inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, brought the magic of the monsoon season to life for kids. Dressed in vibrant raincoats, sturdy rain boots, and holding colorful umbrellas, the kids eagerly participated in the event. They danced joyfully under the sprinkling water, mimicking the playful rhythms of the rain. Through this immersive experience, they not only had fun but also learned about the monsoon season. The activity fostered a deep connection with nature, encouraging curiosity and a love for learning, as they explored the sights, sounds, and sensations of a rainy day.

Meet our super talented kindergarteners who are enthusiastically engaged in a Reggio Emilia-inspired activity exploring the many ways to create the number 4 using various nature-based materials. Their creativity knows no bounds as they arrange sticks and twigs into the shape of the number 4, line up four pebbles...they discover that even leaves, acorns, shells, pinecones, and blades of grass can be used to represent the number 4 in unique and imaginative ways.This not only reinforces their understanding of numbers but also deepens their connection to the natural world, fostering a sense of wonder and appreciation for the environment.

Our Pajama Party was a perfect way to celebrate the letter 🅿️..our Early Years 2 came dressed in their most comfy pajamas, each carrying a beloved cuddle pillow, ready to dive into the fun✨the atmosphere was vibrant with laughter as they enjoyed a variety of delectable foods, all beginning with the letter 🅿️they munched on popcorns, savored stacks of fluffy pancakes, indulged in cheesy pizza, relished fresh pears, and flavorful pasta dishes🍕🫔🍝🍿Throughout the day, a myriad of activities kept the excitement alive as pillow fights brought bursts of giggles😁 and storytelling session captivated their attention..The pajama party not only celebrated the letter P but also fostered a strong sense of community among the young learners✨as they shared stories, laughter, and experiences, building bonds that would last well beyond✨🌈

On the occasion of Mother's Day,our Playpen classrooms buzzed with excitement as mothers joined in the festivities✨their presence brought an extra sparkle to the day as they wholeheartedly participated in various games alongside the children💫From the lively newspaper dance to the laughter-inducing blindfold game with baby products, every moment was filled with joy and bonding🤱🏻🤍Amidst the playful activities, mothers also demonstrated their artistic flair by crafting stunning bouquet cards, each a masterpiece of love and appreciation💐🤍 As a token of gratitude, bracelets were given as giveaways, symbolizing the enduring connection between mother and child. With heartfelt words, the children expressed their deepest appreciation, acknowledging their mothers as the unbreakable strings that weave their family together in a tapestry of love and strength💟

The 🍽️"Stock the Kitchen"🥢 event of Early Years 1 at the school unfolded into a culinary extravaganza, where mothers of students showcased their gastronomic prowess in a spirited non-gas cooking fun🥞...With an ambiance brimming with anticipation and excitement, each mother poured her heart into crafting an impressive array of dishes....From the tantalizing aroma of mango dry fruit pudding to the refreshing allure of chia seed smoothies, from the indulgent decadence of chocolate waffles to the wholesome goodness of healthy tiffin sandwiches, the culinary offerings were as diverse as they were delicious...Not to be outdone, innovative creations such as tortilla wraps, tacos, and the imaginative "Very Hungry Caterpillar" sandwich platter with spaghetti added a touch of whimsy to the proceedings🍸🧇🌮🌯recognition was given to all the participants, each bestowed with titles befitting their culinary prowess, including Flavor Connoisseur, Dish Maestro, Culinary Wizard, Magician of the Kitchen, Cuisine Maestro, Flavor Fusion Expert, and Palate Pleasure Pro. The event culminated in a heartwarming celebration of motherhood🤰🏻, as mothers and their children came together to adorn tiaras on their heads, symbolizing the appreciation and admiration for the nurturing love and culinary talents that make every day special.
