PG Department Of Computer Science organised an interactive session on "Unveiling the magic of Machine Learning: Fundamentals and Applications" on August 08,2023. Dr. Parteek Bhatia Professor in the Department of CS& Engineering Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala was the expert speaker of the session.The session started with a welcome speech by Prof. Vikram Sharma Head of the PG Department Of Computer Science.
The talk had the aim of providing a basic understanding of Machine Learning and its various features to the students in simple and interesting manner.The speaker urged the students to make extra efforts to keep themselves aware of the contemporary developments in IT field.Over 80 students of the PG Department Of Computer Science participated who experienced an interactive and subtle explanation through examples.The speaker created awareness on highlighting the placement opportunities on doing internships.Overall the event inspired the students to passionately dive deep into this revolutionary technology. Students were greatly benefited from this interactive talk.

PG Department Of Computer Science added another feather in the shining cap of achievements. Gautam a student of BSc.(IT) Sem-II scored 632/800 and bagged 6th position in University and 2nd position in Amritsar District in the GNDU examinations held in June 2023.
