Jahaz Mahal is one of the most iconic monuments of Mandu, Madhya Pradesh, built during the 15th century under Sultan Ghiyas-ud-din Khilji.

It gets its name from its striking form—a long, narrow palace standing between two lakes, resembling a ship floating on water. 🚢

✨ Why it is fascinating
Built between Munja Talao and Sagar Talao
Designed as a pleasure palace and royal retreat
Famous for its water architecture, terraces, pavilions and courtyards
A beautiful example of how architecture and landscape were integrated Particularly stunning during the monsoon, when the surrounding water transforms its appearance

Hampi: Where Stone Became History 🪨✨
Every stone in Hampi has a story.

Once the magnificent capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, Hampi was filled with grand temples, royal courtyards, markets and intricate stone carvings. What looks like a ruin today was once a thriving city where architecture, art and culture flourished.
From the iconic Virupaksha Temple to the majestic Vittala Temple and its legendary stone chariot — Hampi reminds us that architecture can outlive empires.

Some cities are built with stone.
Hampi was built to tell a story. ❤️

A glimpse into the timeless grandeur of Chettinad. 🏛️✨

Chettinad mansions are more than magnificent homes—they are a beautiful reflection of history, craftsmanship, culture, and architecture. From intricately carved wooden doors and pillars to spacious courtyards, colourful tiles, and detailed ornamentation, every corner tells a story.

Built with a blend of Indian and international architectural influences, these grand homes showcase the rich heritage and artistic traditions of the Chettiar community.

Walking through a Chettinad mansion feels like stepping into another era—where every detail was thoughtfully designed, every space had a purpose, and beauty was found in the smallest elements.

A reminder that some of the most beautiful stories are written in architecture. 🤎
