S.R. Dayanand Sr. Secondary Public School celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with immense pride, enthusiasm and patriotic fervour, along with a vibrant Teej Celebration.

The august occasion was graced by Ms. Nikunj Chawla and Mr. Ajay Chawla as the esteemed Chief Guests. The programme commenced with the ceremonial flag hoisting, followed by the National Anthem, which filled the entire campus with a profound sense of patriotism and national pride.

The programme then unfolded with a melodious Welcome Song, setting the perfect tone for a spectacular cultural presentation. The students captivated the audience with a powerful Patriotic Dance Drama and an inspiring Independence Day-themed play, beautifully portraying the values of freedom, sacrifice, courage and national unity.

The festive spirit of Teej added colour, joy and vibrancy to the occasion. The energetic Gidda and graceful Ghoomar Dance performances beautifully showcased India’s rich cultural heritage, traditions and artistic splendour. Every performance reflected the enthusiasm, creativity and talent of our young learners.

The celebration concluded on a sweet note with the distribution of sweets among the students, adding to their joy and making the occasion even more memorable.

The entire celebration was a beautiful confluence of patriotism, culture, tradition and talent, leaving everyone inspired and proud. It reminded us that freedom is our precious legacy, while our traditions are the roots that preserve and enrich our cultural identity.

🌸🌸 *Addiction Awareness Campaign – Breaking Free from Unhealthy Habits* 🌸

A meaningful Addiction Awareness Campaign was organised in our school to sensitise students about the importance of self-control, discipline and positive choices. 🌱✨

As part of the campaign, various engaging activities were conducted:

🎬 *Movie Screening* : An informative movie was shown to the students to create awareness about addiction and its impact on our lives.

🎨 *Chart-Making Activity:* Students expressed their thoughts creatively through charts promoting healthy habits, self-discipline and responsible choices.

🧘 *Awareness Lecture* : An insightful session was conducted by Brahma Kumaris, guiding students to recognise unhealthy habits and develop positive and disciplined lifestyles.

The campaign conveyed an important message: we must take responsibility for our choices and protect ourselves from habits that may gradually control our lives.

The activities were informative, engaging and thought-provoking, inspiring students to choose positivity, practise self-control and lead a healthy, balanced and meaningful life. 🌿💫

It was a moment of immense joy and pride for the school as our talented students were honoured for their outstanding academic achievements at the Utkrisht Shiksha Awards–2026 Ceremony. 🌟📚

The prestigious समारोह was graced by the Chief Guest, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana, Shri Nayab Singh Saini Ji. Former State Minister Shri Aseem Goel Ji, Shri Vinod Kumar Ji from Pooja Foundation, and Shri Suresh Chandra Ji, HPSC were also present as distinguished guests.

On this proud occasion, our meritorious students — Arohi, Bhavika, Anmol, Chhaya, Haneesh, Eesha Rani and other talented students — were felicitated with the Utkrisht Shiksha Awards–2026 for their remarkable academic performance. 🏅👏

SR Dayanand Public School successfully organized an informative and inspiring Career Counselling Session for its students with the aim of helping them make informed career choices and explore future opportunities.
The session was conducted by Ms. Surbhi Sharma and Mr Manish from Chitkara University who shared valuable insights into various career options, emerging trends, higher education opportunities, and the importance of choosing a career based on one's interests, abilities, and aspirations. Their practical guidance and interactive discussion motivated students to plan their future with confidence and clarity.
The resource persons were warmly welcomed and felicitated by the respected Principal with a green planter as a token of appreciation. The Principal appreciated the speakers for their valuable contribution and encouraged the students to make the most of such learning opportunities.

"Guru is the light that removes the darkness of ignorance and guides us towards wisdom."

S.R. Dayanand Sr. Secondary Public School celebrated Guru Purnima with great devotion and enthusiasm. The day began with a special session for the students of Grades VI to XII, where the significance of Guru Purnima was explained by the teachers. Students learned about the invaluable role of teachers and gurus in shaping lives, imparting knowledge and inspiring values.

Later, the students of Grades I to V gathered in the school hall to watch meaningful short film based on Maharishi Ved Vyasa .

The celebration served as a beautiful reminder that a teacher is not only a source of knowledge but also a guiding light who inspires students to become responsible and compassionate individuals.

🌿 Plantation Drive – Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 🌿

Our school proudly conducted the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" Plantation Drive in the school grounds today, celebrating the beautiful bond between Mother Nature and our mothers.

Students, teachers and staff enthusiastically planted a variety of saplings, including guava(अमरूद), Indian gooseberry (आंवला), hibiscus(गुड हल),black plum( जामुन), oleander( कनेर) and many other plants, making our campus greener and healthier.

To extend this noble initiative beyond the school campus, saplings were also distributed to students to plant at home with their mothers. This meaningful activity encouraged families to nurture a plant together as a symbol of love, care and responsibility.

The aim of this drive was to honour the invaluable role of mothers in nurturing life while promoting environmental conservation and contributing to a healthier planet. Every sapling planted today is a promise for a greener tomorrow.

🎉 *Investiture Ceremony & Award Ceremony 2026* 🏅
S.R. Dayanand Public School proudly celebrated its Investiture Ceremony and Award Ceremony with great enthusiasm and pride. The event was graced by the esteemed members of the Management Committee, making the occasion truly memorable.
The newly elected Student Council members were invested with badges and sashes and took the oath to serve the school with sincerity, integrity, discipline, and dedication.
The school also felicitated the Class X and XII academic toppers for their outstanding achievements, inspiring every student to strive for excellence.

Our school successfully conducted the First House Meet of the academic session with great enthusiasm and active participation from all house members.

The meeting laid the foundation for a year of learning, leadership, creativity and teamwork.

Students were introduced to various activity groups and committees, including Sports, Play & Drama, Mimicry, Academics, Leadership, Music & Dance, Art & Craft and Public Speaking (Orator), enabling them to explore their interests and showcase their talents.

Our House In-charges inspired students to participate wholeheartedly, embrace responsibility and work together with dedication, discipline and sportsmanship. The interactive session encouraged every student to contribute meaningfully to their house and strive for excellence throughout the year.
