Grand Shubhashish Ceremony for Class XII Students

S. R. Dayanand Public School organized a grand “Shubhashish Ceremony” to bless and honour our beloved Class XII students as they prepare to step into a new chapter of life. The ceremony was held under the esteemed guidance of the School Management and Principal Mrs. Ishu Sharma, in the gracious presence of the Management members, teachers and students of Class XI.

The programme began with a traditional Tilak Ceremony, welcoming the students with warmth and शुभ आशीर्वाद. A sacred Hawan Yajna was performed to invoke divine blessings for their bright future and success in the upcoming Annual Examinations. The atmosphere was filled with positivity, devotion and hope.

As a token of love and remembrance, mementos were presented to the Class XII students. They were encouraged to move ahead in life with determination, hard work, and a spirit of excellence.

The ceremony concluded with a delightful lunch, leaving behind beautiful memories and heartfelt emotions.

✨ *Special Assembly on the Birth Anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji* ✨
Our school solemnly celebrated the birth anniversary of Swami Dayanand Saraswati Ji, the great social reformer and founder of the Arya Samaj, with a special morning assembly.
The program began with a floral tribute to Swami Dayanand Ji. Our respected Principal and teachers paid heartfelt homage, remembering his invaluable contribution to society and his efforts in promoting education, equality and social reform.
Students beautifully conducted the assembly and highlighted the significance of the day through speeches and thoughtful presentations. They spoke about Swami Dayanand Ji’s inspiring message of “Back to the Vedas,” his stand against social evils and his dedication to spreading knowledge and truth. The students reminded everyone of his teachings that encourage us to follow the path of honesty, discipline and righteousness.
The assembly concluded with a pledge to imbibe his values in our daily lives and work towards becoming responsible and enlightened citizens.

🇮🇳 77th Republic Day Celebration at S. R. Dayanand Senior Secondary Public School 🇮🇳

The 77th Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at S. R. Dayanand Senior Secondary Public School. The National Flag was unfurled by our esteemed Chief Guest Mr. Rajat Bansal (School Administrator).

We were honoured by the gracious presence of Dr. Neha Bansal and Mrs. Ramankanta Sharma, who encouraged and motivated our students. The Principal, Mrs. Ishu Sharma, warmly welcomed all the dignitaries.

The programme began with a melodious patriotic group song, followed by vibrant cultural performances. The tiny tots of Grades I & II won hearts with their disciplined drill. Students showcased India’s rich diversity through a fusion dance depicting the cultures of Manipur and Haryana, along with energetic Bhangra and Punjabi folk dances.

A powerful skit on “Screen to Playground” delivered an inspiring message and left everyone thoughtful. The celebration also highlighted the school’s commitment to sports through prize distribution for various competitions, including volleyball, kho-kho, netball, hurdle race, combat skills, double ring race, jump over race, dumbbell drill, and ribbon ring race, held from time to time.

🏆 Winners were felicitated, along with students and parents who represented the school at state and national levels. Mr. Sanjay Kumar (Senior Accountant) and Mrs. Anju Grover (Senior Teacher) were also honoured for their valuable service.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal, motivating students to participate actively in academic and co-curricular activities, and extending heartfelt Republic Day wishes to all.

🌼 *Special Assembly in Remembrance of the Sahibzadas’ Sacrifice 🌼*
Today, our school held a solemn and inspiring Special Assembly to pay heartfelt tribute to the unparalleled sacrifice of the Sahibzadas, the brave sons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The assembly served as a powerful reminder of courage, faith, and unwavering commitment to righteousness.
Students reflected on the supreme martyrdom of the Sahibzadas, whose sacrifice continues to inspire generations to stand for truth, justice and humanity. Shabad singing filled the atmosphere with devotion and serenity, touching hearts and instilling a deep sense of spiritual connection.
The assembly also featured the sharing of heart-warming and inspiring incidents from the lives of the Sahibzadas, highlighting their fearlessness, wisdom and unshakable faith even at a very young age. These narrations left a lasting impact on everyone present.
✨ A *major highlight of the assembly was the Gatka performance,* where students showcased this traditional Sikh martial art with great discipline, skill and enthusiasm. The energetic and graceful movements symbolized bravery, self-defence, and spiritual strength, leaving everyone deeply impressed.
The assembly concluded with a strong message of moral values, reminding students to imbibe the spirit of courage, sacrifice and selfless service in their daily lives.

🌸 *Remembering a Visionary & Spreading Warmth with Kindness 🌸*

Today was a day of remembrance, reflection and responsibility at our school as we observed the death anniversary of our revered founder, Dr. P. K. Bansal.

Dr. Bansal believed that “Education is the greatest wealth.” From humble beginnings, he devoted his life to educating young minds, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds. His vision, values and dedication continue to guide our institution and inspire every student who walks through its doors. Through a meaningful morning assembly, our students paid heartfelt tribute to his noble thoughts and lifelong service to education.

To truly honour his ideals of compassion and service, our students also participated in a Woollen Clothes Donation Drive. With great enthusiasm and empathy, they donated warm clothes for the needy, spreading comfort, care and hope during the winter season.

These moments beautifully reflected our founder’s teachings—learning not only from books, but also through kindness, generosity and social responsibility.

🔥 *Fire Safety Disaster Management Drill* 🔥

Today (28-11-2025), our school conducted a Fire Safety Disaster Management Drill on the assembly ground, led by trained experts. The session was highly interactive and informative, helping students understand the correct procedures to follow during a fire emergency.

The experts demonstrated practical fire-safety techniques, including the use of extinguishers, safe evacuation methods and ways to remain calm and alert during a crisis. Students actively participated and learned valuable life-saving skills through clear explanations and hands-on demonstrations.

We appreciate the efforts of the disaster management team and the enthusiastic participation of our students.

The school family came together on 27 November to celebrate the birthday of our esteemed Chairman, Dr. Narender Bansal. Students lovingly paid homage to him and sought his blessings for wisdom, success and inspiration in the year ahead.

*Grade I & II Field Visit to Manji Sahib Gurudwara & Sai Temple* *

Today, our young learners from Grade I and II embarked on a meaningful and peaceful journey to Manji Sahib Gurudwara and Sai Temple. The visit offered students a beautiful opportunity to explore India’s rich values of unity, respect, spirituality and cultural harmony. 💐

At the Gurudwara, students experienced the calmness of sewa, sangat and the serene sound of Gurbani. They also learned about the message of equality and kindness.

At the Sai Temple, children observed prayer rituals, listened to devotional chants and understood the importance of faith, gratitude and compassion.
