3 days Workshop for Counselors " CREED " ( Counselors Reformation, Enhancement & Employee Development) was inaugurated by Chief Guest Smt Ranjita Pai, Chairperson- Goa State Commission for Women in presence of Shri Govind Parvatkar, Chairman GEDC, Smt Varsha Naik, MD GEDC & Mr. Brijesh Shirodkar GM GEDC. Total 77 counselors & 18 supervisors attended the workshop.

GEDC Launches Interest Free Educational Loan (IFEL) 2023 scheme with revised income ceiling from Rs. 7.00 lakhs to Rs. 12.00 lakhs for studies in India and from Rs. 12.00 lakhs to Rs. 20.00 lakhs for studies abroad considering the inflation index.
Enrollment for the IFEL scheme starts from 27th November 2023...
studies in India Rs. 2.00 lakhs loan is given per annum for a maximum is for 5 years (total Rs. 10.00 lakhs) and for studies abroad Rs. 8.00 lakhs loan is given per annum for a maximum of 2 years (total Rs. 16.00 lakhs). The repayment of the loan starts one year after the completion of the course.

Chairman Shri Govind Parvatkar sir was invited as Chief Guest on the occasion of Guru Poornima function at Aastha Anand Niketan school for Special Children's as Chief Guest.
Chairman witnessed these special Children's talent in making flowers, office files, envelopes which is great motivation for others..
GEDC would like to request all to buy office stationery items from Aastha Anand Niketan which is a big boost to our special Children's talent.
Aastha Anand Niketan is also in the process of constructing a residential school for children with special needs. A very noble action towards the society promoted by its founder Shri Guruprasad Pawaskar ji, Commissioner for Disabled, Goa Govt & entire committee of Aastha Anand Niketan.
