A two-day book exhibition was organized at SPM Government Degree College in collaboration with the Rajkamal Group of Publications on November 21-22, 2024. The event was inaugurated on November 21 by Chief Guest Dr. B.K. Singh, University Librarian, University of Allahabad. The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of the Principal, faculty members, and students, creating a vibrant academic atmosphere. The exhibition showcased a wide range of books across various disciplines, encouraging a culture of reading and academic engagement.

On October 25, 2024, a comprehensive Library Induction Program was organized as an integral part of the induction program for postgraduate students at SPM Government Degree College. The college librarian delivered an engaging presentation highlighting the diverse collection of offline resources, including books, journals, and reference materials, alongside an array of web-based resources such as e-books, e-journals, and databases accessible through the library's digital platforms. The session emphasized the importance of utilizing these resources effectively to enhance academic performance and foster independent learning. Additionally, students were briefed on library rules, membership procedures, and the facilities available for accessing digital content. The program provided a valuable opportunity for students to acquaint themselves with the library's offerings and demonstrated its pivotal role in supporting their academic journey.
