आज 14 फरवरी है। आज के दिन पूरा देश उन 40 वीर जवानों को याद कर रहा है, जिन्होंने 2019 में पुलवामा आतंकी हमले में देश की रक्षा करते हुए अपने प्राणों की आहुति दे दी थी। इसीलिए आज हम इसे 'ब्लैक डे' के रूप में मनाते हैं।
ये जवान केवल वर्दी में सैनिक नहीं थे, वे किसी के बेटे, किसी के भाई और किसी के पिता थे। उन्होंने अपना आज हमारे कल के लिए कुर्बान कर दिया। उनकी यह शहादत हमें याद दिलाती है कि हमारी सुरक्षा की कीमत कितनी बड़ी है।
आज हम यहाँ केवल दुख प्रकट करने नहीं, बल्कि उन वीर सपूतों के साहस को सलाम करने आए हैं। हमारा देश हमेशा उनका ऋणी रहेगा। उनके परिवारों ने जो बलिदान दिया है, उसे कभी भुलाया नहीं जा सकता।
आइए, हम सब मिलकर संकल्प लें कि हम अपने देश की एकता और अखंडता को हमेशा बनाए रखेंगे।
शहीदों की चिताओं पर लगेंगे हर बरस मेले,
वतन पर मरने वालों का यही बाक़ी निशाँ होगा।
जय हिन्द! जय भारत!"
