Retired AMU faculty to receive award in Abu Dhabi

Aligarh, March 16: Retired faculty member of the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) from the Department of Botany, Prof Wazahat Hussain will be conferred with ‘Sheikh Zayed International Award for TACM—Academic in Traditional Herbal Medicine Category’ for distinguished work in improving the quality of life and human health on October 10, 2022 in the 2nd Sheikh Zayed International TCAM Award Ceremony in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

“The award ceremony which was scheduled in February has been delayed till October due to Covid pandemic”, said Amina Al Haidan (Head and Chairperson, Sheikh Zayed International Awards and Founder Lotus Holistic Institute, Abu Dhabi) in an official letter to Prof Wazahat.
