Happy Teachers Day

05/09/2026

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, one of India’s most respected scholars and the country’s second President, believed that teachers deserved recognition for their contribution to society. When his students wished to celebrate his birthday on September 5, he suggested dedicating the occasion to teachers instead. The gesture eventually became the foundation of Teachers’ Day in India, observed every year in recognition of educators and the lasting role they play in shaping generations.

A blank page.
A quiet classroom.
And hundreds of thoughts waiting to be heard. ✍🏻

On 3 September 2026, our students didn’t simply write essays — they turned their thoughts into words, ideas into perspectives, and imagination into expression.

Because sometimes, the most powerful thing a child can write…
is what they truly think.

This wasn’t just a competition.
It was a glimpse into the minds of the next generation. 🤍

Watch till the end — you might just see a thought worth remembering.

At Aligarh English School, our students are not only gaining academic knowledge but also learning Ahadees and the beautiful teachings of Islam. 📖✨

Through the words and teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, we encourage our students to develop good character, kindness, honesty, respect and compassion—values that shape them into better individuals and responsible members of society. 🤍

We are excited to introduce Skating & Taekwondo Training Sessions within our school with our dedicated skating and Taekwondo Teacher🛼🥋

These sessions are designed to develop fitness, confidence, discipline, coordination, and self-defence skills among our students.

We believe learning goes beyond academics, and these activities will help our children grow stronger, more confident, and more active.

Let’s encourage our children to learn, participate, and grow beyond the classroom!

Their discipline, punctuality, and commitment to learning deserve genuine appreciation. Choosing to attend class despite difficult weather reflects the kind of dedication that builds strong character and lasting success.

To every student who made the effort today: your commitment did not go unnoticed. Keep up the excellent work.

As kids, we rarely appreciated the good teachers we had. Looking back now, they were often the reason school felt a little less scary and a lot more meaningful.

Watching this made me think about how one caring teacher can change a child’s confidence, curiosity, and even their future.

If you’re a parent, I hope your child gets to experience a teacher like this. Those are the people children remember long after they’ve forgotten textbooks and exams.

What’s one thing a teacher did for you that you’ll never forget?
