Koke- moss and dama- ball. Kokedama literally means a ball of moss. Referred to as living art, it originated in Japan, where living spaces are minimal.

The Japanese are the original aesthetes and their culture embraced kokedama as a means to celebrate nature by bringing the element of green into their homes, despite spaces being cramped. What made it practical was that kokedama is about potting a plant without actually using a pot.

Today, it's becoming trendy among millennials and Gen X, Y, and Z-ers who love minimalism and nature. Needless to say, it is a favourite with all those people who have a green thumb because it uses all natural materials and is completely hassle-free. Once you know how to make it.

Your kokedamas can sit literally anywhere - from your office desktop to your balcony. They're green, lightweight (minus the pot), and require little maintenance. They're so easygoing that they can even safely hang... be it doorways, entranceways or simply under the stairs.

And they bring that beautiful touch of green we so yearn for...

When you join our Kokedama workshop, we'll show you which plants work best in the Indian climate; we'll give you materials to make your own kokedamas - from a scratch, and we'll show you how to maintain these beauties.

We'll make kokedamas together (the more the merrier).
