New Tangle explorations. It has a close relationship with the Tangle Flux by ZentangleHQ, but it has a different feel to play with it. There’s a lot of opportunity to explore here. I will play with it for few more times before I come out with a step out.

Yesterday evening, the three new tangles I learned at the ZenAgain Seminar called my name and asked me to give them life into this sketchbook.

I have been holding onto this book from mid of 2016 and also my first adult sketchbook sort in life. It has all my firsthand drawings, more of my frustrations, struggles with tangles and shading. So many pages are halfway or ruined in someway. But it also holds some of my most cherished artworks. That says, that it really takes a while to gain an understanding into art.

By the by, what kind of understanding am I talking about? It’s definitely not the fundamentals or even the drawing and coloring perspective, etc but it is more upon how to turn A Mistake into an opportunity.

This little lesson in art and life has completely change my life. It’s given me the enthusiasm to keep breathing and keep tangling.

And I am here just to pass on this message…

Today, I updated my stock and added a few coloured GellyRoll pens. I often keep them in a lot and handy, as these are the best gifts that I possibly can give to kids whom I meet usually. And I learnt this from the art meetings with this kid. We have class together weekly, and she loves to play on the black tile.

I realise how many advantages I have as an artist because I get to work with fascinating new materials. I can play, experiment, fail, pick myself up, and keep going like a child. As an artist, I have learned to tap into my creative side and embrace my inner child! This is where my imagination can truly soar.

This artwork is from the Year 2020, and I was trying my new set of Moonlight GellyRoll pens that I had bought before the grand lockdown! They are drawn on both black and toned paper.

Tangle Refresher classes are presently in continuity for both kids and adults on different days.
