35th UG GIBION: A Resounding Success at LJSAS! 🎉

On 9th February, the 35th UG GIBION competition held at LJSAS witnessed an inspiring and impactful event with a total of 284 participants and an audience of 650 attendees, including 110 esteemed faculty members. The event brought together bright minds across eight different competitions, showcasing talent, innovation, and academic prowess.

The inaugural session was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including:

This gathering marked a milestone in academic engagement, knowledge sharing, and fostering a collaborative environment for students and professionals alike. Kudos to all the participants, faculty, and organizers for making this event a grand success!

Mr Bignesh Thakur, Mr Maaz Kureshi and 5 Ty chemistry students attending a conclave on Nonylphenol ethoxylate, invited by Toxic links (Delhi), Gujarat Cleaned Production, Gujarat Pollution control board and ATIRA.

Second year, Third year and M.sc students of chemistry department attended 3 days Natur Education Camp at Hingolgad sanctuary. Students also visited Blackbuck National Park, Velavadar.
The whole camp was organised and sponsored by the GEER FOUNDATION, Forest Department, Government of Gujarat.

The **International Conference on Macromolecules, Supramolecules, and Nanotechnology**, organized by **LJ School of Applied Sciences, LJ University**, has successfully concluded, bringing together over **450 participants** from across India. This event provided an exceptional platform for researchers, scientists, students, and technology developers to exchange groundbreaking ideas and innovations. The conference featured **international and national speakers** from prestigious institutions such as IITs, IISE, and CSIR, who shared their expertise in the fields of **chemistry, nanotechnology, and biotechnology**.

With **over 100 poster presentations**, the conference showcased the latest research in areas like **polymers, fullerenes, nanomaterials, molecular recognition, drug design, and nanobiotechnology**. Keynote lectures, plenary sessions, and invited talks from eminent personalities enriched the discussions, further advancing the scientific dialogue.

The event focused on the diverse applications of **nanotechnology**, including **nano drug delivery**, **green chemistry**, and explored the world of **supramolecular chemistry** with topics on **calixarenes**, **rotaxanes**, and **MOFs**. It emphasized the growing importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in the rapidly evolving fields of **nanotechnology, biotechnology, and material science**.

This conference has proven to be a significant milestone for **LJ School of Applied Sciences**, LJ University, positioning it as a leading hub for fostering innovation and supporting future advancements in these vital scientific areas.
