SUDHIR SHARMA

He is known for his brand design work for many Indian Brands. Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finserv, Varroc, ICICI, Venkies, Standard Chartered Bank, Commonwealth Youth Games 2008, Pune City Branding are some of them.

He is the Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of the award winning DesignIndia Magazine. He hosts India’s Best Design Awards and an yearly event on design “The DesignIndia Show”

He was on the jury panel of the inaugural Cannes Lions for Design 2008, Adfest Pattaya, Spikes Asia Singapore, Dutch Design Awards, Eindhoven, Design Turkey, Istanbul.

He was a member of the India Design Council, and is Alumnus of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on the Global Council for Design. He is board member of GDIO (global Design industry organisation). He has been conferred the title role of “Professor of Practice” at the Ajeenkya DY Patil University, Pune.

Codesign is one of India’s leading independent brand design practices. As creative head at Codesign he has led projects for
iconic Indian brands like Royal Enfield, Tata Motors, Wildcraft, PhonePe, MPL, Godrej, Coca-Cola,
Tata Consultancy Services, UNDP, Titan Watches, Levi Strauss, Reebok, Bacardi and dynamic startups, developing deeply strategic and impactful brand identity systems.

He Graduated from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad with a specialisation in Graphic Design, and Masters programme at Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, Italy with specialisation in Interaction Design. With over 15 years of professional experience in communication design and branding,
Dahiya balances the strategic role of design in businesses and detailed craftsmanship in design ex*****on through creative leadership at Codesign.
He has been featured in press and television interviews for his views on the emerging design sector in India, including Young Turks profiling future leaders from India on CNBC.

Dahiya has been invited to and presented at national and international conferences, including What Design Can Do (Netherlands),
TEDx (Ahmedabad), Kyoorius Design Yatra (India), Sri Lanka Design Festival, Zeebelt Theatre (Netherlands) and London design Festival.
He has represented India as part of the delegation to explore potential Indo-Dutch partnerships in 2009 and 2010, under the Open Minds programme.
Dahiya was a founding member of the UnBox Festival. More recently, he co-founded Rising to use his skills as a designer, to better the world he lives in.

SKETCHBOOK STORIES WITH ALLEN SHAW

is an Indian illustrator and storyteller based in Berlin. Traveling and sketching are two of his impassioned affections and he has drawn more than 150 sketchbooks from his travels to Japan, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Italy, France, Croatia, and more. He has also associated with Longform annual, an anthology of graphic stories. A graduate from National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. Shaw continues to paint his “gypsiness” in sketchbooks inspiring travel and art enthusiasts.
Allen has been visiting in many institutes like CEPT, MIT, Riyaaz Academy, etc.

KIRAN BIR SETHI

Kiran Bir Sethi is a designer who became a teacher, a principal who grew into an education reformer and subsequently morphed into a social entrepreneur. A trained graphic designer from the National Institute of Design, she comfortably uses the language of design – iteration, prototype, design specs – to develop not only curriculum innovation, but also community-based social programmes.

Sethi founded the award winning Riverside School in Ahmedabad, India, in 2001. Riverside, is viewed as a laboratory to prototype design processes that uses a systems approach to build a culture of empowerment, graduating young citizen leaders with an ‘ I CAN Mindset’ – using their agency for the greater good.
