🔹 Upper Realms (7 Higher Lokas): • Satyaloka – The highest realm, abode of Lord Brahma. • Tapoloka – Realm of great sages engaged in deep meditation. • Janaloka – Residence of enlightened beings and rishis. • Maharloka – Realm of spiritually advanced souls. • Swargaloka – Heaven, home of the Devas (celestial beings). • Bhuvarloka – The intermediate realm between heaven and earth. • Bhuloka – Earth, the realm where humans live.
🔹 Lower Realms (7 Patal Lokas): • Atala • Vitala • Sutala • Talatala • Mahatala • Rasatala • Patala
These lower realms are not simply "hell" but are described as vast subterranean worlds inhabited by various beings, including Nagas and Asuras.
According to Hindu philosophy, these realms symbolize different levels of consciousness, karma, and spiritual evolution. They remind us that existence is far greater and more complex than what we perceive with our physical senses.
