Semester-2), successfully completed a one-week Forest Camp at Mount Abu from 1st June to 8th June, 2026, organized by the Youth Welfare Department, Gujarat University.

The camp provided the participants with valuable exposure to nature, environmental awareness, wildlife conservation and outdoor learning experiences. Through various educational and adventure-based activities, they gained a deeper understanding of ecological balance, sustainable living and the importance of protecting our natural resources.

Annual Day Function-2026 @ P D Pandya Mahila Commerce College

The Annual Day Function “Abhivyakti” was successfully held on 3rd March, 2026 at our college campus. It was a joyful and memorable celebration filled with talent, enthusiasm and creativity.

🎤 Anchoring: - Prof. Dharti Rami and Prof. Ami Galchar gracefully conducted the programme.

🎙 Opening Remark: - Prof. Vipul Solanki, Convener, Activity Club, PDPMCC, warmly introduced the event and set the tone for the celebration.

🌸 Welcome Speech: - Principal J. R. Patel addressed the gathering and motivated the students with inspiring words.

🏆 Prize Distribution Announcement: - Prof. Yogesh Desai announced the prize winners.

🌟 Guest Speech: - We were honoured to have Dr. Geetika Saluja from Rotary Club, Ahmedabad (District 3055), who delivered an inspiring speech on the occasion.

💃Students showcased their talents through wonderful stage performances like Group Dance, Singing, Mimicry, Ramp Walk and fun Games. Their energy and confidence truly made the event special.

A Motivational Talk @ P. D. Pandya Mahila Commerce College

As a part of our vibrant Carnival Week of Days Celebration, we proudly observed Self Awareness Day on 28th February, 2026 at P. D. Pandya Mahila Commerce College. On this special occasion, a powerful and inspiring Motivational Talk was organized on the thought-provoking theme.

~ Anchoring & Introduction: - The anchoring and introduction of the guest were gracefully conducted by Prof. Vipul Solanki, Convener of the Activity Club, PDPMCC.

~ Opening Remarks: - The session began with opening remarks by Prin. J. R. Patel, who emphasized the importance of self-awareness and personal growth in students’ lives.

~ Guest Speaker: - The session was delivered by our esteemed Guest Speaker, Dr. Alkesh Patel, Associate Professor of English, Bhavan's Sheth R. A. College of Arts and Commerce, Ahmedabad.

Dr. Alkesh Patel’s insightful and engaging address motivated students to develop self-awareness, strengthen self-confidence and embrace self-acceptance as the foundation for personal growth. His inspiring words encouraged everyone to recognize their inner potential and move forward with confidence and clarity.

It was truly an enriching and empowering session for all, marking a meaningful step towards self-discovery and holistic development.

Visit to Vatva Police Station

The CAWACH Kendra and NSS Department of P. D. Pandya Mahila Commerce College organized an educational visit to Vatva Police Station on 27th February, 2026. The main objective of this visit was to spread awareness among students about cyber security, women’s safety and legal rights.

Mrs. Kalpnaben from the E-Guj Cop Division of Vatva Police Station explained the various safety features available on the E-Guj Cop App, how to file online complaints and the procedures for seeking help in case of emergencies. She also guided students about different laws and support systems designed to safeguard women.

Shri Dhavalsinh from the Cyber Crime Department of Vatva Police Station also shared practical tips to protect personal data, create strong passwords and respond wisely to suspicious online activities.

Biz Bazaar Fest-2026 @ P. D. Pandya Mahila Commerce College

The Activity Club of P. D. Pandya Mahila Commerce College successfully organized Biz Bazaar Fest-2026 on 25th February, 2026 at the PDPMCC Campus.

The festival was formally inaugurated by Smt. Hemlataben Pandya, Managing Trustee of Meghdoot Education Trust, who marked its formal commencement by cutting the ceremonial ribbon.

From 8:30 a.m. onwards, the PDPMCC Campus came alive with excitement, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit!

The fest was a vibrant celebration of talent, teamwork and enterprise. Students enthusiastically participated and made the event grand, joyful and truly memorable.

માતૃભાષા મહોત્સવ-૨૦૨૬ @ પી. ડી. પંડ્યા મહિલા કોમર્સ કોલેજ

૨૧ ફેબ્રુઆરીએ ઉજવાતા “વિશ્વ માતૃભાષા દિવસ” નિમિત્તે પી. ડી. પંડ્યા મહિલા કોમર્સ કોલેજ, અમદાવાદ ખાતે તા. ૨૦મી ફેબ્રુઆરી, ૨૦૨૬ (શુક્રવાર) ના રોજ ગુજરાત સાહિત્ય અકાદમીના સહયોગથી માતૃભાષા મહોત્સવ-૨૦૨૬ નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું.

કાર્યક્રમમાં મુખ્ય વક્તા તરીકે જાણીતા લેખક-કવિ પ્રા. ડૉ. નિખિલ જોશી અને પ્રસિદ્ધ લેખક-કવિ હરદ્વાર ગોસ્વામી ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા હતા. પ્રા. ડૉ. નિખિલ જોશીએ ‘આજની યુવા પેઢી અને માતૃભાષા’ વિષય પર પ્રેરણાદાયક ઉદ્બોધન આપ્યું હતું, જ્યારે હરદ્વાર ગોસ્વામીએ ‘મને ગમતી ગુજરાતી’ વિષય પર હૃદયસ્પર્શી વિચારો રજૂ કર્યા હતા.

આ પ્રસંગે કોલેજના આચાર્યશ્રી ડૉ. જે. આર. પટેલે પ્રસંગોચિત ઉદ્બોધનમાં વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓને માતૃભાષાનું મહત્વ સમજાવતા જણાવ્યું હતું કે માતૃભાષા આપણી ઓળખ અને સંસ્કૃતિનો આધારસ્તંભ છે.

કાર્યક્રમ અંતર્ગત ‘ભારતીય પરંપરાગત પહેરવેશ સ્પર્ધા’ નું પણ આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓએ ભારતના વિવિધ રાજ્યોના પરંપરાગત વેશભૂષા ધારણ કરીને તે રાજ્યોની સંસ્કૃતિનું સુંદર પ્રતિનિધિત્વ કર્યું હતું. સ્પર્ધામાં આશરે ૪૦થી વધુ વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓએ ઉત્સાહપૂર્વક ભાગ લીધો હતો. શ્રેષ્ઠ પરિધાન રજૂ કરનાર વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓને પ્રથમ, દ્વિતીય અને તૃતીય ક્રમે વિજેતા જાહેર કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

કાર્યક્રમમાં તમામ અધ્યાપકમિત્રો અને વિદ્યાર્થીનીઓ ઉત્સાહભેર જોડાયા હતા અને કાર્યક્રમ સફળતાપૂર્વક પૂર્ણ થયો હતો.
