Hello dear readers,
Today’s post isn’t about a recipe or a dish, but about something much more special—the story behind my food blog and the love that makes it all possible.
I started this page to celebrate my mother's incredible cooking skills, but more than that, to capture the bond we share over food. Recently, something small yet unforgettable happened.
A few weeks ago, I accidentally broke my favorite tea mug—the one my mother had lovingly picked out for me. It may seem like just a mug, but it meant a lot to me, and I was heartbroken. I got a good scolding also 😶🌫️ and I starting having my tea from an ordinary glass, but somehow it just didn’t feel the same. I was missing my cup a lot as I was using it for a decade now. 😔
Though she scolded me, she saw I was upset. One day, she quietly bought a new mug for me. When I saw it, my eyes filled with tears. Such a small gesture, yet it spoke volumes about her love. Yes, she scolded me for being clumsy, but she couldn’t bear to see me sad, not even over the tiniest thing. That small gesture showed me how much she cares, even when she’s strict. Mothers love us deeply and want to see us happy, even in little things. 👩👧💖
I don’t want to brag, this is just a story I want to share to remind us all that our life starts with our mothers. Everyday they make very small gestures which go unnoticed but they speak a lot about our mothers. She is the root of our life, and we should never forget our roots. Always love and respect them—they are the most loving beings on this planet. 🌍❤️
This blog is more than recipes—it’s my mom’s hard work and love. Thank you for supporting us and being part of our journey! 🙏
Love you, Mummy. Thank you so much for everything you do for me. 🥹
