The Nurses Day Celebration 13rd may 2026 was organized at Rabindra Bhawan, West Tripura, with great enthusiasm. The programme was graced by Chief Minister, Government of Tripura, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha as the Chief Guest. The celebration highlighted the valuable contribution of nurses in strengthening healthcare services and saving lives.
The theme of the programme was “Our Nurses, Our Future: Empowered Nurses Save Lives.” Our students also attended this auspicious event and actively participated in the programme. Various activities including a quiz competition and cultural performances were organized, making the celebration informative, inspiring, and enjoyable for all participants.
The programme concluded successfully with a message of respect, dedication, and appreciation for the nursing profession and its vital role in society.

On 14.4.2026, Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) organized a cultural program on the eve of Bengali New Year, Pohela Boishakh. The event, titled “Eso He Boishakh,” was held at the TIPS campus and brought together students, faculty, staff, and management in a festive celebration. The program reflected the spirit of the new year with cultural performances and traditional elements, fostering unity and joy within the TIPS community.

On Day 4, the final day of the Academic Activity Meet 2026 at Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) on 11.4.2026, Startup Project Presentation and Debate competitions were conducted. Students participated in large numbers, demonstrating innovation, critical thinking, and effective communication across both events. This year’s Academic Activity Meet has been a great success, reflecting the enthusiasm and talent of the TIPS student community.

On Day 3 of the Academic Activity Meet 2026 at Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS), i.e. on 10.04.2026, Essay and Group Discussion competitions were conducted with active participation from students across various courses. Additionally, posters from the previous day’s Poster Competition were displayed within the TIPS premises, highlighting the creativity and effort of the participants.

Renowned speakers included Dr. Shyamanta Das (psychiatry professor,Dhubri Medical College,Assam), Ms. Sonali Chattopadhyay (clinical psychologist), and Ms. Poulami Dutta (former nursing principal).
The interactive sessions focused on practical mental‑health care, stress management, and patient‑centered support systems for nursing professionals.
