The Nurses Day Celebration 13rd may 2026 was organized at Rabindra Bhawan, West Tripura, with great enthusiasm. The programme was graced by Chief Minister, Government of Tripura, Prof. Dr. Manik Saha as the Chief Guest. The celebration highlighted the valuable contribution of nurses in strengthening healthcare services and saving lives.
The theme of the programme was “Our Nurses, Our Future: Empowered Nurses Save Lives.” Our students also attended this auspicious event and actively participated in the programme. Various activities including a quiz competition and cultural performances were organized, making the celebration informative, inspiring, and enjoyable for all participants.
The programme concluded successfully with a message of respect, dedication, and appreciation for the nursing profession and its vital role in society.

Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) is holding an Inauguration Program for its 2nd Edition of VAC - Value Added Course on 22nd April 2026 at the Assembly Hall. It covers three key courses: Basic Life Support Training, General First Aid, and Biomedical Waste Management. These skills are essential for healthcare professionals to ensure emergency response and safe medical practices. The initiative reflects TIPS’s commitment to enhancing practical knowledge and professional standards among its students.

On 14.4.2026, Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) organized a cultural program on the eve of Bengali New Year, Pohela Boishakh. The event, titled “Eso He Boishakh,” was held at the TIPS campus and brought together students, faculty, staff, and management in a festive celebration. The program reflected the spirit of the new year with cultural performances and traditional elements, fostering unity and joy within the TIPS community.

On Day 4, the final day of the Academic Activity Meet 2026 at Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) on 11.4.2026, Startup Project Presentation and Debate competitions were conducted. Students participated in large numbers, demonstrating innovation, critical thinking, and effective communication across both events. This year’s Academic Activity Meet has been a great success, reflecting the enthusiasm and talent of the TIPS student community.

On Day 3 of the Academic Activity Meet 2026 at Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS), i.e. on 10.04.2026, Essay and Group Discussion competitions were conducted with active participation from students across various courses. Additionally, posters from the previous day’s Poster Competition were displayed within the TIPS premises, highlighting the creativity and effort of the participants.

On Day 2 i.e. on 9.4.26 of the Academic Activity Meet 2026 at Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences, competitions for Poster Presentation and Extempore were conducted. Students from various courses at TIPS participated actively, showcasing creativity, knowledge, and confidence in both events.

Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) continues its annual tradition of observing the Academic Activity Meet this year from 8.4.26 to 11.4.26. On Day 1, the Prof. Chandan Mitra Memorial Interclass Seminar Competition was held, with enthusiastic participation from students across various courses at TIPS.

The event includes a health awareness walkathon, souvenir distribution at State Children Home for Girls, and a workshop on Hospital Administration, showcasing TIPS’ commitment to health education and community service. “

The Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) organized a one‑day state‑level workshop on *“Mental Health: A Hope to Cope”* on 28th March 2026 at Aquilaria Club House Agartala.
Renowned speakers included Dr. Shyamanta Das (psychiatry professor,Dhubri Medical College,Assam), Ms. Sonali Chattopadhyay (clinical psychologist), and Ms. Poulami Dutta (former nursing principal).
The interactive sessions focused on practical mental‑health care, stress management, and patient‑centered support systems for nursing professionals.
TIPS highlighted the event as a vital step in strengthening nursing education and addressing emerging mental‑health challenges in healthcare.
