This episode of the television series "Sightings" is the last to be partially devoted to UFO phenomena in Israel. It covers two UFO sightings that occurred in 1996: the jellyfish-shaped UFO that hovered over the Shalom Meir Tower (or Kolbo Shalom) in Tel Aviv, and the massive UFO that appeared three nights in a row at kibbutz Hatzor.

The Shikmona Beach UFO and Its Alleged Pilot 📸

So what makes Shikmona Beach (Haifa) so special? A UFO has been sighted at this location three times within two years.

Here's what we should take away from the three separate UFO incidents at Shikmona Beach:

First sighting (September 28, 1987):
-A UFO burned its image into the sands of Shikmona Beach after emitting bright red flashes and a very loud noise.
-The UFO flew into the sky and disappeared less than a second after the last flash.
-The UFO measured 15 meters in diameter and had an elliptical shape.

Second sighting (June 6, 1988):
-A similarly shaped craft burned its image into the sand at Shikmona Beach.

Third sighting (April 27, 1989):
-A UFO was seen exploding into numerous fragments over Shikmona Beach.
-The beach was strewn with burning white metal that felt cool to the touch.
-The metal glowed in water.
-When picked up, the shards turned to white ash.
-The shards turned out to be pure magnesium.

Scientists from the Technion Institute of Technology tested the site and found that the magnetism was much higher than that of the surrounding area: a 671% increase, according to the late UFO researcher Avi Grief.

Soil samples taken from the scorched earth at Shikmona Beach were sent for analysis and subjected to laboratory testing. The soil samples were found to be covered with a low-melting hydrocarbon material (the sand appeared to melt under the heat of the camera light). Biophysicist (Dr.) W.C. Levengood’s findings confirmed that the ground had new characteristics: There was a tremendous change in the ratios of some of the elements (for example, ordinary zinc was increased 104 times).

This summary is based on the research of the late ufologist Barry Chamish and information gathered from the TV series "Sightings."

In 1987, Haifa-based UFO researcher Hadassah Arbel stunned the Israeli media by declaring, "Creatures from other planets are visiting Haifa's Shikmona Beach and taking a close interest in it."

Newspaper Article About a UFO Sighted Over Beit She’an (1991) 📰📸

Location: Beit She'an Valley, Israel

The incident began around 3:30 AM. The craft was shaped like a banana. Luminous and silent, it hovered at an altitude of approximately 150 to 200 meters (492.1 to 656.2 ft). It was observed for at least three hours over the Beit She'an Valley, flying over several kibbutzim, and approaching the Jordanian border. At one point, it remained motionless over kibbutz Maoz Haim, occasionally moving left and right, then returning to its initial position. As day grew brighter, the UFO rose higher and higher in the sky until its light could no longer be distinguished due to the overwhelming daylight. This banana-shaped UFO was observed by numerous police officers (including members of the Israel Border Police) and Israeli army personnel.

Professor Hiss's conclusion: "Based on the results of a microscopic and electron microscopic examination of an exhibit found in moshav Ahihud on September 23, 1996, and transferred to the institute for examination on January 28, 1997, and considered to be an extraterrestrial being, I express my opinion that the exhibit is not human tissue and no signs were found of it being recognized biological tissue (of animals or plants). It is not possible to establish that the exhibit belongs to an organic or non-organic material, and it is also not possible to determine that the exhibit is made of a synthetic material."
