In Hebrew, לֶחֶם (lechem, “bread”) and מִלְחָמָה (milchama, “war”) share the same root: ל.ח.ם. Not a coincidence.
The spiritual question is: will we fight to take... or connect to receive?
That root also means to engage, to connect, to come into contact. War is intense connection. So is nourishment.
But in the Bible, lechem is life itself. “Man does not live by bread alone...” (Deuteronomy 8:3)
From the same root, we can create conflict — or deepen our trust in Divine provision. The choice is ours. ✨

In 1947, a young Bedouin shepherd threw a stone into a cave near the Dead Sea. Instead of hearing it hit the ground, he heard a jar shatter. 🏺
That accident led to one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of all time: the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Inside those caves were nearly 1,000 ancient manuscripts — some over 2,000 years old — containing portions of almost every book of the Hebrew Bible. Among them, the complete scroll of Isaiah, preserved with extraordinary accuracy over centuries.
Here’s what it proves: the Dead Sea Scrolls didn’t create the Bible. They showed how faithfully it had been transmitted through generations.
