"מגיל צעיר תמיד עניין אותי העולם הגדול, המגוון שיש לו להציע, התרבויות והשפות השונות. ומעל כולם, אסיה ריתקה אותי. לפני התואר טיילתי ביפן, דרום קוריאה וטאיוואן ומיד אחר כך החלטתי שאני רוצה לעסוק בקשר בין ישראל ואסיה. התוכנית הציעה בדיוק את מה שעניין אותי השילוב בין לימודי מנהל עסקים ולימודי אסיה. נהניתי מהתואר מאוד, מנהל עסקים עזר לאזן את לימודי אסיה ואת עשרות המאמרים שקראנו כל סמסטר. בחוג ללימודי אסיה אני במיוחד נהנתי ללמוד את השפה הסינית, ועל ההיסטוריה העשירה של סין. כרגע אני ממשיכה את לימודי השפה הסינית בטאיוואן. באוניבריסטת NTNU, בטאייפי. יחד עם סטודנטים מכל העולם. אך בעייני הלימודים היותר מאתגרים וכיפים כאן הם ביום יום, לדבר עם המוכר הנחמד במכולת, או עם חבורה של מטיילים טאיוונים באמצע הייקינג."

אני עדו סטודנט למנהל עסקים ומזרח אסיה במדור יפן. כרגע אני לומד באוניברסיטה קיוטו כחלק מהתכנית של הממשלה היפנית. עברו כבר חודשיים מאז שהגעתי ליפן , וזאת בהחלט הזמנות מדהימה! אני מרגיש שהשפה כאן משתפרת מהר מאוד, אני מטייל ומכיר חברים חדשים מכל העולם. בנוסף אשתף שלאחרונה אני עובד על הקמה של מועדון יזמות יפני ישראלי לסטודנטים שהולך להיות הדבר הגדול הבא.

On the weekend we had some downtime to rest and recharge our batteries. An evening yoga class was the ideal way to end the day.

On Sunday,
An unexpected meeting with Anubhav Srivastava turns out to be fantastic. We were eager to learn about the other side of things after hearing so much about starting businesses. Mr. Anubhav Srivastava was extremely helpful in answering our questions about the ecosystem and start-up hub in Bangalore and the rest of India. He assisted us in filling in the blanks. In terms of official policy, he said:
"The government needs to step back and let the private sector lead the economy, which is exactly what the Indian government is doing."

Then, Orit Shulman took us on a tour. Religion is very prevalent in this area. It is a piece of the puzzle that is the city and the country in general. It was fascinating to hear some religious legends and visit temples.

On Friday we had the 4th day of our delegation, it had many insights and inspirational moments.

The first meeting of the day was at Ibus. Mr Ram Sellaratnam devoted his time to discuss his work with us.
He is the founder of one of the cutting edge communications solutions for buildings in India. In addition, He founded an investment fund for startups in their early stages (pre-seed). As he said: "Ideas are cheap. It's the ex*****on that matters". We also talked about Ibus strategy and business model. Deploy Internet infrastructures in buildings and oblige the telecommunications companies to provide service through their infrastructures.

Then, we continued to IIM-B university, one of the leading business schools in India. We have been invited by NSRCEL, their incubator. They introduced us how they operate and support entrepreneur. Afterwards we heard from several alumni that participated in the program about their journey.

Day 3 had many surprises in store for us, it tested our adaptability and .

The day began on Intel Corporation campus in Bangalore. We had a very informative meeting about the ecosystem. We discussed the city's growing startup scene, how intel promotes it, and the differences between here and Israel.

Our next meeting has been canceled. So we took advantage of the opportunity to learn about the local culture. It was fascinating to see how the east and west collided at the Bengaluru Palace area. Finally, we participated in a cooking class at Slurp Studio and ended our day on a high note.

We began our journey today with a special local breakfast with future leaders who are members of the (Young Indians Bengaluru). We learned about their businesses and startups, as well as the cultural differences between our two cultures.

We continued to Chai Point , India's largest supplier. We had a meeting with the CEO, Amuleek Singh Bijral , the CFO, the COO, and the CGO Dev Arora. One of the CEO's quotes stuck with me: "We are where the customer is. This is the path we take whether it is b2b or b2c. To be within arm's reach."

Finally, we finished the day at the , a one-of-a-kind spot in this bustling city. It promotes through innovative means such as farm-to-table restaurants, public workshops, the hosting of special programs, and flea markets.

יצאנו למשלחת של התוכנית המשותפת למנהל עסקים ולימודי אסיה של האוניברסיטה העברית לבנגלור, הודו. המשלחת היא חלק אינטגרלי מלימודי התואר. אנחנו שמחים להחזיר את שגרת המשלחות בעולם של פוסט קורונה. בליווי של ישי יפה, שרון אריאלי ואיתי פרידיונג.

פתחנו את היום בקונסוליה הישראלית. היתה לנו שיחה מעניינת מאוד עם תמי בן-חיים הקונסולית וג'ואי אברהם הנספח הכלכלי.

לאחר מכן, נפגשנו עם נציגים מהסטארטאפים ElectricPe Kalvi . חיבור שנעשה בעזרת הארגון Young Indians

וסיימנו את היום עם ביקור ב The Hub Bengaluru נהנו מאוד מהרוח היצירתית.
