Meet Dalia, the Director of the vision department at Keren Or!
Dalia is passionate about helping every child fulfill their potential and live their best life!
Dalia is a psychotherapist with expertise in rehabilitating children and young adults with complex disabilities and visual impairments, particularly cortical visual impairment (CVI.)
CVI is a brain based visual impairment, meaning that the brain has trouble interpreting the images that the eyes see. Thanks to the brain's plasticity, with the right environmental inputs, new visual pathways can be created and a child's vision can be dramatically improved. More than 90% of the children at Keren Or have CVI.
Dalia and her professional staff integrate vision therapy and special adaptations into every part of a child's daily schedule.
We are so lucky to have Dalia on the team!
