Hello,

Following your interest in studying Hebrew, I would like to tell you about our course, “Hebrew – Continuing Studies.”

The course is intended for those who have already studied Hebrew and would like to consolidate their knowledge and understanding, build confidence, and improve their speaking skills through practice and conversation.

The course takes place in a small, intimate group of up to 6 participants, allowing plenty of room for individual practice and conversation.

📅 Mondays and Wednesdays
🕡 Beginner level: 18:30–20:00

The next lesson will take place on Wednesday, October 7.
Advanced: 17:00-18:30
You are warmly invited to join the first lesson and get a feel for the course and the group before deciding whether you would like to continue.

🌿 A Little Hebrew Learning Tip for Sukkot

Did you know that Sukkot is also known as Chag HaAsif – the Harvest Festival?

It’s a wonderful opportunity to see how one Hebrew word can lead you to many more.

The word asif (אסיף) is connected to the Hebrew root א־ס־ף, which has to do with gathering and collecting.

From this one word, you can discover:

🌱 le’esof (לאסוף) – to collect or gather: to gather fruit, collect information, pick up the children.
🌱 asifa (אסיפה) – a gathering or meeting: a parents’ meeting, residents’ meeting, general assembly.
🌱 osef (אוסף) – a collection: a collection of books, photographs, stamps.
🌱 asfan (אספן) – a collector, someone who enjoys collecting things.
🌱 Asaf (אסף) – a Hebrew first name that comes from the same root.

🔑 My tip for you:
When you learn a new word in Hebrew, don’t stop at its meaning.

Pause for a moment and ask yourself:
What other words are connected to it?

This way, one word can open the door to more words, more sentences, and more conversations in Hebrew.

Because when you learn Hebrew,
you’re not just collecting words –
you’re collecting the language for life. 🌿
