✨ The 14th Aloney Yitzchak Festival ✨
Take a moment to look back at the beloved Aloney Yitzchak Festival, held at the end of May – an evening of community, creativity, music, nature, and deep love for a place that is much more than an educational institution – it’s a home 💚

✨ A Closed Shabbat at Aloney Yitzchak Youth Village ✨

At our village, a "closed Shabbat" is so much more than just a weekend – it’s an experience filled with action, emotion, and inspiration.

It all began on Thursday with our traditional “Boarding School Thursday”, where we reflected together on the past two weeks – the joyful moments, challenges, and accomplishments.
Right after that, the drama club put on a wonderful show, where students shared their talents on stage in a mix of moving and funny moments.

On Friday morning, we went out for special trips and activities, and in the evening we welcomed Shabbat with a touching ceremony – this time led by the 11th-grade group, "Idan".
Later, we celebrated with a fun disco party that lasted until lights-out.

On Saturday, we held our Village Shabbat, led by the 12th-grade group, "Nez", which included ⚽ ball games and other exciting sports activities.
We followed that with 🗞️ thought-provoking current events discussions in groups,
and finally 🕯️ some quiet time to reflect and get ready for a new week of learning.

And this is just a small glimpse of the full experience!

Attached are photos and a short video so you can feel the special Shabbat atmosphere at Aloney Yitzchak 💙

We were excited to host the Cycling Association of Israel along with youth village teams from across the country for an event full of energy, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit. 🚴‍♀️💨

The riders demonstrated determination, fitness, and impressive ability throughout the course, turning the afternoon into a true celebration of movement and wellness.

Moments from our Yom HaZikaron events 🕯️

This year, Yom HaZikaron (Israel’s Memorial Day) was especially difficult and deeply moving.
We honored it with two heartfelt ceremonies — one in the boarding school, and one on campus —
with an evening of songs of remembrance, and morning circles of reflection.
The words, the personal stories shared by soldiers, the music, and the quiet embraces — all touched our hearts and left a deep impression.

In our hearts, we carry the memory of our fallen:
Boris Dunavetsky
Nazar Itkin
Yinon Tamir
Yoav Agmon
May their memory be a blessing. 🕯️

Remembering — Never Forgetting
This week, we marked Holocaust Remembrance Day with two powerful and moving ceremonies:
🕯️ A ceremony by the Barak group in the boarding community
📖 A ceremony by the 10th grade at school, with the participation of Holocaust survivor Shlomo Frankel, who shared his inspiring story.

Both events were filled with emotion, meaning, and presence — moments of remembrance that will stay with us for a long time.
The photos and videos here offer just a small glimpse into what we truly experienced on this meaningful day.
