Before the Sabbath arrives,
and a little calm sets in for the weekend,
I raise my voice and call out my enemies
with every ounce of energy that I can muster
to defy their tyranny.

These are my people, my family, my tribe.

Symbols and signs of our times.

The symbols and the writing that we see
On the walls of the cities where we wander
are a wonderful glimpse
into peoples ideas and imaginations,
and the contrast between our different tribes.

Our imagination sometimes leads us to madness,
and sometimes it can guide us towards miracles,
if we let it.

Nonetheless, the mob mentality of young minds
is also quite scary at the moment.
While I’m enjoying the letter M,
I mamash hope we can build up monuments
to creativity and modernity
and not antiquated ideas
that simply malign one another.

With many blessings for the sabbath. 🙏🙏

With a war raging overhead, a pastoral walk around the Carmel is a reminder of G-s’s glory, natures calming gift, and the futility of worrying about things we cannot change.
