✨ And just like that… we’re back! ✨
What a lovely first day in Lakyle NS as we welcomed everyone back for another school year. It was wonderful to see the children catching up with friends and sharing stories of their summer adventures. 💛
There was extra special excitement today as we welcomed our new Junior Infants to the Lakyle family. 🥰 Ms Keenan had a wonderful first day with the children, filled with fun, creativity and some very special artwork! 🎨✨
We can’t wait to watch our newest pupils learn, grow, make friends and create lots of special memories during their time in Lakyle. Their adventure has only just begun! 🌈📚✨

💙💛 What a fantastic day at Lakyle NS!
On Monday, we were thrilled to welcome members of the Clare U20 Hurling Team and Management to our school. We are incredibly proud to be the first school they have visited with the Munster and All-Ireland cups! 🏆🏆
The excitement was electric and our pupils loved hearing about the dedication and preparation that goes into competing at the highest level, as well as picking up plenty of training tips during a Q&A session, it was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to learn from some of Clare’s finest sporting ambassadors. A special highlight was welcoming back former Lakyle NS pupil, Kalum Fahy, whose achievements are a great inspiration to our pupils. 🌟
A huge thank you to our Clare heroes for taking the time to visit us, answer questions, and sign autographs for our pupils. It was a wonderful occasion that inspired our children to dream big and believe that anything is possible with hard work and determination.

💛 💙 🏫 Excitement is building at our school as we prepare to welcome members of the Clare U20 Hurling Team & Management on Monday at 1:30pm! 🏆 🌟
We would be delighted to welcome parents, grandparents, family members, friends, and neighbours to join us for this special celebration. Please share the news and help us spread the word throughout the whole community. Everyone is welcome. 💛 💙
To help make the occasion extra special, we have asked all pupils to come dressed in their saffron and blue colours. Jerseys, hats, flags, and all Clare supporters' gear are encouraged as we give our visitors a memorable welcome. 🎉
Come and join us for what promises to be a fantastic occasion and to celebrate the achievements of our Clare heroes and give them a huge Whitegate welcome! 🖤 ♥️

💛💙 Up the Banner!💙💛
Excitement is building ahead of tomorrow's Under 20 All-Ireland Hurling Final, and our school was awash with Clare colours today as pupils and staff came together to show their support for the Banner County.
But there was one noticeable exception! Our new principal Mr o’Looney proudly wore his Galway jersey, making him the centre of attention in today's school photo. 😄
It was wonderful to see such excitement, community spirit, and friendly rivalry throughout the day.
We wish Terence and his team all the very best of luck in tomorrow's Final. The whole school will be cheering you on! 💛💙🏆
