What a day yesterday! 💚

I was honoured to speak at Croke Park for the NEIC Schools’ Mobile Phone Free Childhood initiative. A huge thank you to Margaret, principal of St Vincent’s Girls’ School, for inviting me to be part of the speakers’ panel.

I also had to follow Kellie Harrington on stage… no pressure at all! 😅

The voices that stayed with me most were the children’s. They spoke so clearly about growing up without a smartphone in primary school and having more time for their hobbies, interests and friends. They brought the whole reason for this initiative to life.

Then it was off to Our Lady’s School in Terenure to kick off Cyber Safety Month in conjunction with South Dublin County Council. We finished the day with that all-important conversation with parents about supporting children online.

Thank you to everyone who made yesterday possible. It was a privilege to be part of it. 💙

🎉 Another amazing birthday celebration at the Leebow Studio! 🎨💕

The sun was shining ☀️, the creativity was flowing, and we had a brilliant group of young artists designing their very own tote bags — with lots of Stitch and koala inspiration! 🐨💙🎨

What made this party extra special was welcoming our lovely birthday girl back to Leebow to celebrate with us for the 3rd year in a row! 🥳🎂 It means so much to have families return year after year, and I’m incredibly thankful that Leebow was chosen once again to be part of such a special occasion. 💕

📱🦀 CRAB vs NOKIA NINJA 🥷📞
Which one is age appropriate for primary school children… and why?

This is a new conversation I’m introducing into my Leebow Online Safety workshops with primary school children and parents — encouraging children to stop, think and question the technology we put in their hands.

One thing I hear regularly from parents is:

💬 “I gave them a phone because I need to be able to contact them.”

And that makes complete sense. ❤️
But does contact automatically have to mean a smartphone?

🦀 The Crab has the smartphone — social media, apps, group chats, notifications, internet access, cameras and endless scrolling all sitting in their pocket.

🥷 Nokia Ninja keeps things simple — a basic phone that allows children and parents to stay connected, without opening the door to everything that comes with a smartphone.

And interestingly… the retro phone is making a comeback! 📞

More parents and school communities are beginning to question when children actually need a smartphone and whether a simpler phone could bridge that gap during the primary school years.

Rather than simply telling children what is “good” or “bad”, I want to put Crab vs Nokia Ninja in front of them and ask:

🤔 Which phone do you think is more age appropriate?
🤔 What does each one give you access to?
🤔 What are the benefits?
🤔 What are the risks?
🤔 If the goal is simply staying in contact with home… do you actually need a smartphone?

Because online safety isn’t just about rules — it’s about developing critical thinkers who can understand WHY. 💚

✨ Hello September! ✨

What a lovely way to finish off a brilliant summer with a few days back in beautiful Biarritz 🇫🇷☀️ Sunshine, stunning scenery, local goodies and discovering some gorgeous new shops and restaurants. It really is one of my favourite places to return to. 💛

It was the perfect ending to a busy but wonderful summer filled with Leebow art camps, classes and workshops 🎨🌈 — while also squeezing in gigs, festivals, sunshine and plenty of time catching up with friends and family.

And now… September 1st and we’re back! 🍂🙌

A new school year, a new term and lots happening at Leebow — weekly art classes for kids and adults, creative workshops, education training and our Online Safety workshops in schools. 🎨💻

Feeling refreshed, recharged and ready for another colourful term ahead! 🌈✨

As our Leebow Summer Camps wrapped up on such a brilliant high, myself and my girls packed up the camping gear and headed to All Together Now for our second year of family festival fun! 💛✨

What an incredible few days. I’ll never say no to an excuse to wear neons, sequins and sparkle! 🌈💖 The atmosphere was pure magic, with something for everyone.

One of the best parts was meeting the most incredible, colourful, like-minded people. Festival friends really are a special kind of magic, and it always amazes me how creative, kind and welcoming everyone is. Huge shout-out to —proof that like attracts like! 💖✨

Some of our favourite moments:
🎨 Painting tote bags
🧖‍♀️ Saunas and well-earned massages after hauling camping gear, walking miles and dancing even more!
🍫 Chocolate tasting with paired with wh***ey from at the Theatre of Food.
🛍️ Finding epic bargains in the charity shops.
♻️ Visiting , picking up a few freebies and sharing lots of our own with complete strangers—because that’s what the festival spirit is all about.
💪 Starting each morning with , from hula hooping and rave cardio to rebounders!

The food was incredible (Tang BBQ was a standout 😍), and the music was even better. From legends like Pulp, Christy Moore, Underworld and Disclosure to discovering brilliant new favourites like , every set brought something special. 🎶

The day after was all about sore legs, sleep and recovery—but every aching muscle was worth it.

Already counting down until next year! 🏕️✨💃

✨ That’s a wrap on our Leebow Summer Camps 2026! ✨

What an incredible few weeks it’s been! 💛🎨

I’m only just getting around to posting because as soon as camp finished, we headed off on a family trip to ATN Festival… where we had our own little mini Leebow Fest! 🌈🎪 Think dressing up, music, creativity, glitter and lots of fun! 🥳

A massive THANK YOU to every child and family who spent part of their summer creating with us. It has been an absolute joy watching imaginations run wild, confidence grow, friendships blossom and so many amazing masterpieces come to life. These are just a few of the highlights from our July camps, and what a wonderful summer we’ve shared together.

To everyone who tried to book but missed out because we were fully booked, thank you so much for your support. I’m so sorry we couldn’t fit everyone in this year, and I truly appreciate every enquiry. ❤️

Just to answer one of the questions I’ve been getting a lot… Leebow won’t be running summer camps during August, as we’re taking a little break before an exciting autumn season begins.

🍂 Here’s what’s coming up at Leebow…

🎨 Monday Kids Weekly Art Classes return in September (5–6pm) and bookings are now open.

🎃 Halloween Art Camp is now taking bookings for the end of October. With a maximum of just 10 children, spaces fill quickly, so don’t leave it too late!

🎉 We’re also taking bookings for our creative birthday parties, school workshops, community groups, family workshops and private events for the months ahead.

Thank you again for making another Leebow summer so special. I can’t wait to create with you all again very soon! 💛✨
