This year we are hosting a glow in the dark run in aid of Pieta House. Everyone in this school will personally know or know of someone who's life has been affected by su***de and Pieta House have helped over 30,000 people nationwide since they opened their doors in 2006. All the money we raise at this event will be going straight to Pieta House and we would appreciate as much support as possible from our whole community for such an incredible cause! The glow run is a 4km run or walk taking place on Saturday the 27th, registration at 6:30pm and the run will begin at 7:30pm. At registration all the runners will be given a glow stick bracelet and a sachet of neon powder paint. When the run begins there will be several stations throughout the course where the bankers and a team of volunteers including teachers will throw neon paint at the runners.🎆 We will also have performances from Big Bang and other groups before the run, there will be guest speakers including the one and only Jessie Barr! We will have a ‘Night Glow’ hot air balloon display on the night also🎇The idea of the glow in the dark paint is about bringing light into the darkness that people may be finding in their lives as this is one of Pieta House's strongest messages. Tickets are €15 and all the money is going straight to Pieta House! Can’t wait to see you all there❤️
