As we sign off for summer, we want to wish all of our students and families a fun, relaxing and safe break. Thank you for all of the hard work, memories, achievements and laughter throughout the year — we are so proud of everything you have accomplished.
Enjoy the late mornings, sunny days and well-deserved rest. We hope your summer is filled with happiness, adventure and plenty of great memories!

3rd and 6th Year students are invited to drop off any unwanted school books after their exams. These books can then be reused and appreciated by other students in the school community.

👏 Celebrating Our Junior Students 👏

Well done to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year students who were recognised this week for their excellent attendance and outstanding behaviour throughout the school year. 🏅📚

Students received certificates and awards alongside our Junior School Deputy Principal and Year Heads in recognition of the positivity, respect, commitment and school spirit they bring to Tullow CS each day.

A huge congratulations to all students recognised — your hard work and attitude do not go unnoticed. Keep it up! ⭐👏

✨ Class of 2026 ✨

Last night, we celebrated the graduation of our wonderful 6th Year students as they officially reached the end of one chapter and prepared to begin the next. 🎓

The theme of the evening, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step,” reflected the path each student has taken throughout their years in Tullow CS. As part of the ceremony, every graduate received a small stone alongside their certificates — a symbol of our hope that the stones and bumps they meet along the road ahead will be small, and that they will always have the strength to overcome them. 🤍

One of the most special traditions of the evening was the shared meal between students and teachers before the ceremony, giving everyone a chance to reflect, laugh and make a few final memories together.

Through music, reflections and presentations, the evening celebrated not only academic achievement, but also the friendships, memories, challenges and growth that shaped this very special year group. There was laughter, emotion and an overwhelming sense of pride as students looked back on their journey through Tullow CS. ✨

We are so proud of each and every one of you and wish you nothing but happiness and success in the journey ahead. 🌟

🏆⚽️ Leinster Champions Again! ⚽️🏆

FAI Leinster Schools Division 2 Junior League Final
Tullow CS 4️⃣ – 3️⃣ St Colmcille’s Knocklyon

A massive congratulations to our Junior Girls Soccer Team who have made it back-to-back Leinster titles after an incredible victory today! 👏💚

Having won the Division 2 league title last year, the girls returned in their first season after promotion and successfully defended their crown in dramatic fashion.

Tullow led 3-0 at half time thanks to excellent goals from Anna Cullen, Ella Corcoran and captain Keelie Doyle, making full use of the strong wind advantage. 🌪️⚽️

St Colmcille’s fought back bravely in the second half, scoring three goals in twenty minutes to level the game and set up a tense finish.

Just as extra time looked certain, a brilliant pass from Una McFarland found Maria Healy, who raced through on goal before calmly slotting the ball past the keeper to spark wild celebrations from the Tullow supporters and players alike! 💥🙌

An incredible achievement from a fantastic group of players who continue to do the school proud. 💚🏆

🎓✨ Today at lunchtime, we held a special celebration for our LCA Class of 2026 as their graduation celebrations officially began.

As our first Sixth Year LCA class in a number of years, this group has brought so much to Tullow CS through their humour, personalities, kindness and the brilliant relationships they built with both staff and fellow students over the past two years 💙

Every teacher who worked with this class speaks so fondly of them — their sense of humour, willingness to get involved and ability to make each day enjoyable for both students and staff alike will be hugely missed 👏

Students and staff came together today to enjoy a lovely meal served by caterers, along with desserts and sweet treats from the sweet table themed “A Sweet Ending to a New Beginning” 🍬✨

We look forward to celebrating again with them alongside the rest of our Sixth Year students at graduation on Thursday 🌟

🎓 Anything But A Bag Day 2026 🎒❌

The creativity was out in force today as our Sixth Year students took part in the annual “Anything But A Bag” parade to kick off their graduation celebrations 🙌😂

School bags were swapped for everything from washing baskets and ride-along trucks to wheelchairs, trolleys and just about anything they could carry their books in 🚗🧺♿

A brilliant day full of laughs, memories and great fun as the Class of 2026 begin their final celebrations at Tullow CS 💙💛
