Just over a week to go to Offaly School of Special Education's Black Tie Ball, taking place on Friday, 24th April 2026 at the The Tullamore Court Hotel 🖤✨
Join us for an elegant evening in support of our wonderful students, featuring:
🥂 Drinks reception from 7.00pm
🍽️ Dinner at 7.45pm
🎶 Live entertainment by The Secrets
🤵👗 Black Tie dress code
🎟️ Tickets: €100 per person
🍾 Table of 10: €1,000
All proceeds from the night will go directly towards enhancing recreational facilities and activities for the students who attend the school from all over the county of Offaly, helping to support their wellbeing, confidence, and overall development.
📍 The Offaly School of Special Education is based at Kilcruttin Business Park, Tullamore and is the only dedicated special school in Offaly, providing specialist education and a supportive, inclusive environment for children and young people with complex special educational needs.

Ed Graham Principal and Tríona Hanley from Offaly School of Special Education were delighted to accept a very generous cheque for €1,200, presented by Tony Saunders and Brian Mac Eoin from Midlands National Shooting Centre of Ireland, Tullamore. This fantastic amount was raised during a recent fundraiser. We are incredibly grateful for the support shown to our school by the club members. On behalf of our students, families and staff, thank you to everyone involved for your kindness and generosity — it truly makes a difference 💙

Our heartfelt thanks to Tullamore Diecast, Toy & Model show for this incredible donation to our school. We really appreciate all the time and effort it took to organise your event and to raise such a substantial sum for us🥰. Your kindness will ensure the pupils at Offaly School of Special Education will continue to benefit from many recreational resources and activities that this donation will help to fund. A special thanks to Jarleth Ennis Snr and Jarleth Ennis Jnr who presented a cheque to us last week for the sum of €6510 👏

We are delighted to announce that the final total raised from the MIDNITE BLUE fundraiser is an amazing €2,700! 🥳

What a fantastic night at the MIDNITE BLUE fundraiser in Byrnes Edenderry. A heartfelt thank you to the band for choosing Offaly School of Special Education, we are so grateful to you all🙏 Sincere thanks to the volunteers who gave of their time to make the night such a great success, with special appreciation to Debbie and Gillian. Last but by no means least, thank you to the community of Edenderry who came out in force, once again, to support our school. Your kindness and generosity is appreciated beyond measure and will go a long way to bringing joy to our wonderful students. Thank you to you all ❤️

We are so excited for this event tonight hosted by MIDNITE BLUE in Edenderry for our school. Thank you to the band for choosing Offaly School of Special Education ... we are so grateful to the community of Edenderry for their continued support. As the only dedicated special school in the county, we cater for Offaly's most special children. Currently one third of our students come from Edenderry and the surrounding areas so tonights event will help us to continue to offer these children and their peers the care and resources they need. All support greatly appreciated.

Our amazing Purple Class are off on an exciting outing to Belvedere House and Gardens in Mullingar today! 💜🌿

What makes this trip extra special is that the children funded it themselves by collecting recyclable items and putting them through the Deposit Return Scheme. ♻️👏

We’re so proud of their hard work, teamwork, and commitment to caring for the environment.

Wishing them a wonderful day full of fun, learning, and adventure! 🌟🚍
